Fire bombing Tesla Vehicle's

But why? Trump hates EVs and doesn't want you to buy one. Right? It gets confusing figuring out his agenda but I'm pretty sure I'm right.

You hang on Trumps every word more than I do. I'll take your word on it....then ignore it.

Why now want to buy a Tesla? Because the democrat loonies (that was redundant,, but i'll leave it) are all emo about Elon so I would get great pleasure owning one of his companies' products. And I also think that Tesla (cars at least) are a quality product now.

You either misunderstand or are making shit up. Knowing you, it’s probably both.
I'm saying he doesn't have firm beliefs about anything and he can be easily bought because he's transactional. Are you going to pretend you didn't hear him bellow about EVs for years until Elon bought his change of heart?

You should look into swapping out the bmw for an equivalent priced Tesla. The Tesla drives much better and it’s not close. I'm serious, go give one a test drive. It has one pedal driving. Instead of braking the car uses that energy to regenerate. The result is that you rarely if ever use the brake.

I understand it’s a big leap for some. It take a little adjusting. But look at Teslas brand loyalty. People who buy a Tesla almost never go back. There is a reason
I actually started looking, not seriously though we got a good deal on the beamer so we'd have to put in more $$ to get a later model. That's the only thing about EVs that give me pause. Range (which is getting way better) and battery life. I know that batteries get less efficient as time goes on so going too far back in the used market can't be good. No telling what's been going on with the car and how it was maintained and in the case of EVs the battery is the big thing.

It's not serious until my wife starts looking, she's the car buyer / household budgeteer / manager of animals and help. Lol!

You'd be a brave man to drive around in a swastikar these days. 😅 Oh and....

Trump didn't dislike the electric cars per say, i doubt he had ever ridden in one, he hated that the government was mandating the change.

Elon is the exact same. He does not want the government involved with subsidies. Call it rich if you want, I acknowledge Tesla got a lot of help from the subsidies they did receive, but Trump and Elon are both preaching free markets and individual liberties. The same as Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg. If the markets were free, then the subsidies would never have been there for Elon to arbitrage. He beat the democrats at their own game and now they are mad it seems.

Keep distorting markets and Elon et al will continue to outsmart you.

It was totally worth it for my favorite supercharging spot (right across from Mellow Mushroom pizza, and next to Top Golf) to be down for a couple of days. All i got in return was this deranged leftist lighting himself on fire and then facing 5-20 in the slammer. Fair trade.

And in other news , i need to take my late model Dodge Ram in for recall work.

Had to do that with another recall on the truck I had before that, and other cars/trucks that I've owned over the years.

To be honest we've probably sh*t posted at each other while charging side by side a few times.

What were your thoughts on Elon/Tesla/EV's when he was a climate activist? I'm sure you hated him as much as ALL the Californians who bought his cars do now.

Numbers still looking just fine in China. Nothing to worry about. Proceed.

Figured out why these posts don;t come through. It's because they are subscription posts that i pay for and therefore can't be shared. Basically says that searches for Tesla in China are on par with their normal numbers.

I'll be honest i didn't pay much attention to Tesla or Elon back then. My position on climate change has always been that yes the climate will change, but i don't think that is a bad thing. That being said, I respect our planet and the environment and do believe in some duty to be good stewards of the environment.

My love of Tesla started 1) When i heard how much money Susquhanna made trading the stock one year and 2) I visited California with my family and saw 8 teslas in a row (It was not a part of some parade or something). I thought that was odd and that those customers must see value. Thats how i got into Tesla.

So honestly, i didn't hate Elon back then but to be fair he wasn't really on my radar either.

I'm not sure i would hate an environmentalist. I actually respect them. Things i don't respect are dishonestly and an overbearing government.

I think free markets and individual liberties are good goals worth striving for.

Let's compare graphs

So no actual stats or facts. Just vibes is your response.

NYT has done extensive research on how DOGE incorrectly states the amount of cuts and also is now making it even more difficult to track what those cuts are coming from.

Also overnight Russia and Ukraine exchanged attacks towards each other. So that’s not really going well. Maybe Putin will be on time for his call with our President next time. Or he’ll just make fun of the president on TV again. Who can say.

Poland led all nations in NATO defense spending in 2024. The US also funded the WHO at a 15% clip.

The UK is a great ally who has gone into wars that we have started and backed us. Canada is another ally that our president won’t stop talking about making our 51st state. Or just the pointless tariff wars we are starting that have no real endgame.

Economy propped up by corruption? I mean what a totally vague meaningless statement. What exact corruption is propping up the economy? And how is that going to be fixed?

Again glad you are happy with these things and live off vibes.
Mature people, unlike maga clowns, understand that life is expensive.

How would that apply? It was $173 a year ago and it's not much higher now. It peaked a month out from the election and has done a nose dive ever since.
Not much higher?

Now do the snp 1 year ago.

we will now end this lesson by concluding that charts are easily manipulated and meaningless without context.

5-20? Wow. Is this the same I would get for burning down another brand charger? Seems like we might be giving special punishment for some reason in this specific case. Isn’t that what got your panties so wadded up after J6?

It's up 35% on the 1 year. S&P is up less than 17%.
Sure but the biggest bump came from the expectation that DOGE would be a huge success and now that its overstepped it's authority and pissed off a majority of Americans, the downhill slide reflects their sentiments. Down 45% in three months is a huge drop no matter how you slice it. Consider it a referendum on his popularity.

I’ve been incredibly blessed and I am thankful.

I HAVE BEEN INCREDIBLY BLESSED IN MY PASSING THROUGH MY ONE TIME

I think to myself as I read some of the LIBERAL LEFT-WING DEMOCRATIC posts on here you folks need to pray for wisdom to go with the knowledge y'all claim to have

Certainly a surge in extreme negative sentiment. These things are measured in years though, not months. I'm not a fan of everything going on or the specific approach, but at the same time, this is the first real attempt to cut government spending in decades. Which is desperately needed. It's inevitable that they were going to have to break some eggs and piss people off to get there.

It's not just a few people they're pissing off. FoxNews put a poll out today that shows 60% dispprove of his sledgehammer approach. When will those of you in the 40% speak out?

A judge today that ruled against him digging around in our SS system spoke for a lot of us.

“The DOGE team is essentially engaged in a fishing expedition at [the agency], in search of a fraud epidemic, based on little more than suspicion. It has launched a search for the proverbial needle in the haystack, without any concrete knowledge that the needle is actually in the haystack,” she added.

The team has “unbridled access to the personal and private data of millions of Americans,” but has “never identified or articulated even a single reason” why DOGE would need “unlimited access” to Social Security’s entire record systems, which would risk “exposing personal, confidential, sensitive, and private information that millions of Americans entrusted to their government,” the judge wrote in her ruling.

“Indeed, the government has not even attempted to explain why a more tailored, measured, titrated approach is not suitable to the task,” she said. “Its method of doing so is tantamount to hitting a fly with a sledgehammer.”

She noted the irony of the government fighting to conceal the identities of DOGE staff “because defendants are concerned that the disclosure of even their names would expose them to harassment and thus invade their privacy.”

“The defense does not appear to share a privacy concern for the millions of Americans whose [Social Security] records were made available to the DOGE affiliates, without their consent, and which contain sensitive, confidential, and personally identifiable information,” she wrote

How many of those wanting EV mandates and are now setting fire to his dealerships? ****ing hypocrites

I don't get it. I am sure these vehicles are covered by insurance.
I thought the left wing liberals are all for EV car's. I guess climate change is no longer a concern.
I don't even get what for or against EVs has to do with it. This is a crime. Period. It's not a protest or political statement. Arrest them, put them on trial and lock them up.
