You are correct on Fauci. Fauci follows the science. When the early numbers came out and said that the masks didn't keep you from becoming infected, Fauci followed the science. When more data came in saying that masks protected others from you Fauci did a 180. He followed the science. If more experiments indicate that
Dude that's both sides of the aisle and it's not new. Any time Obama tried to do anything... same thing from the right. The only difference is the amount of whining Trump does compared to any other President.
The president isn't responsible for other's behavior, BUT what he says and does has an affect. Publically saying MULTIPLE time on how this was all going away soon. Openly disagreeing with his medical experts that are making policy for the country, refusing to wear a mask, and openly supporting people protesting wearing masks and pushing for reopening even though the states had not reached the goals required by his own taskforce to do so all hurt the country and the fight against COVID.
As any scientist can tell you. When you are dealing with something new, there's a learning curve. Some of the things you thought you knew were correct, some are not. All you can do is follow the science and adjust as the numbers come in. It can be confusing and frustrating for sure, too bad the POTUS didn't bother to address the country about that and instead added to the confusion by pushing unproven treatments and nonsense about UV light and household disinfectants.
If he follows science and there is no agenda why was death rate pumped so hard early on and now it’s all cases and no one ever talks about how many healed cases and the lack of death rate. When the percentage was high and they could pump their agenda and utilize their scare tactic they pumped it hard! Everyone’s gonna die!!!!!
I told y’all from the very beginning after that call that hospitals were more concerned with overcrowding because of people not following procedures and protocols and people showing up in the ER that did not need to be there and not utilizing telehealth and spreading the disease to the healthy was the bigger concern than death rates.
And guess what...the states and hospitals that communicated that to the people, the doctors offices etc have contained this virus.
This entire thing has been politicized. The masks hysteria is hysterical to me still...it’s all a game and people are getting played daily. It’s not a “hoax” and that also has been blown out of proportion and the words and how it was used politicized but that’s another convo all together
Healthy people are more likely to walk out of their house and die in a car wreck today than they are to die of Covid for not wearing a mask.
I’ve been exposed on multiple occasions...guess what...never showed a symptom so never got tested but I’m pretty sure at least one time I would have been positive just like his wife and son were with no symptoms.
I just stayed home, drank beer in my back yard, and built my new bad ass patio that is almost completed
We are officially in the participation trophy society created
1. media pumps fear and society plays off it
2. History needs to be erased! Buildings need name changes, statues took down, reparations, sports teams names changed
3. Who cares about your small business! It’s a pandemic! We are all gonna die without a mask...
After this is done, far left Democrats might have exactly what they want! A socialist country where citizens are reliant on the country, small business is dead, high taxes, and their pockets are lined by major corporations and banks and they get rich while the citizens get bent over with no KY.
shut the country down! Only good news from this is I’ve had my kids at home learning valuable skills like working in the yard properly, tearing down decks, using power tools, building a pergola, forming a concrete pad, cooking on a smoker, staining wood, bottom fishing in Edisto, bass fishing in the local ponds, Etc.
We’ve got to spend more time together and really build a family unity. They’ve seen the value of a a hard days work as I’ve been out there slaving away (am I allowed to say that) on my new back yard area for my wife’s 40th bday surprise party this past Saturday. Swinging sledge hammers, running chain saws, using power tools some days from 8 am until 11-12 midnight with a slightly torn rotator cuff and jacked up back. They’ve watched me damn near pass out of heat exhaustion to the point my 16 year old came to me and said “I thought I knew what hard work was until I watched you outside. I haven’t pulled my weight around here and I’m sorry!”
so I guess if nothing else COVID has at least helped me teach my kids work ethic and values
