What part of this not effecting any existing appliances are you not understanding? I'm guessing that the story isn't as good if you don't have the government "coming for your stuff". Kind of like Obama "coming for your guns"? I had a gas stove before moving to Idaho. If I lived in SC, I'd still be using it and wouldn't change.

The point of the story was that the libs on here (and apparently you now also) said it was all one big conspiracy theory and another Fox News right wing extremism talking point to distract from real issues. Then they start passing actual bills/laws and the response is "well, they will let you keep it if you have one, you just can't buy a new one"
