I’m confused. MSNBC and CNN are telling us this is the last election ever. Is that not true?

Mayor Pete is awesome. Intelligent, well spoken, not afraid to take on critics. But he is boring. Though maybe the country could use a little boring.
I like Jackson. There’s a handful of good Democrat prospects out there. Hopefully we’ll have a primary in 2028 with a lot of fresh (and younger) faces to choose from.

I don’t disagree, was pretty surprised when he wasn’t the pick. Doubt it’d have made much difference.
Oprah told us if Kamala wasn’t elected we would probably never get to vote again.
I think he's politically savvy enough to know Kamala was a putrid candidate and he would have latched onto a failed campaign.
Pretty sure he understood that Kamala was the worst candidate in a generation and didn’t want to be associated with her. I doubt Walz was her top choice.

Would be awesome if that happened, lol. If dems think Trump won a high% of young male votes, particularly minority, nominate pete and see what happens.
It would definitely drive more minority votes to pubs. Also, may impact the Catholic vote.
He would lose to 5 Reps that I can think of off the top of my head. I mean the guy has been AFK at his current job and when there was a crisis he hid under his desk...Woke didn't work in 2024 and wont work in 2028...

Also, I’d let things play out a bit. Right now there is no “leader” of the Democrat party. I’m not saying there isn’t a quality candidate what I’m saying is that over the next 18 months, some Dem may very well come out and impress the masses.
Like … Obama’s speech at the 2004 DNC firmly put him on the map. I certainly didn’t vote for him BUT when I heard his speech at the DNC, even I was impressed.

That should get the Black and Hispanic males to run back to the party. MSNBC called them misogynists all day yesterday so might as well toss in homophobic if they don’t vote for Pete.
