Snowflakes won't like this
As someone who uses the term "snowflake" I imagine you're probably an expert on this topic, no?
Snowflakes won't like this
Per the CBA they are allowed to discriminate, esentialy.per the CBA they can ask sexual orientation?
Because you have people like @jimbob1019 who actually care who other grown men chose to privately have sex with IMOhow is it relevant for a football team? are we really ignoring the fact that, statistically speaking, there have likely been homosexuals on football teams for years?
Well, I believe the employers have a right to know in this case as it relates to locker room cohesiveness. See, believe it or not, there are still some guys that may not feel comfortable hitting the showers with some dude that may be watching them. I mean, we talk about inclusiveness & equality & all of that stuff but I still highly doubt women would want to use the same locker room as men...so the same can be said for men vs girlymen, right? This could cause some major friction within the team & could transfer to on the field play...thus damaging the product & the investment these teams made in these players.
If this is a pun -it might be the GOAT post on TI.....noy sure intended though
This can't be real can it? No actual person thinks this way do they?
Gotta be an elaborate troll.
GayHe should of said " hell yea I love my Dad and Uncle." "Oh yea my best friend is a man"
Why don't we just go to unisex locker rooms... That way no one can be offended in any way...Because you have people like @jimbob1019 who actually care who other grown men chose to privately have sex with IMO
Believe it or not, there are a few of us out here that believe in the biblical principle, man & woman...God's way. I guess I'll just have to scrape the bottom of the barrel...Me too
Also, holy hell at some of the responses in this thread. Some posters scraping the bottom of the barrel (@jimbob1019)
I am obviously not jimbob but do you really think guys wouldn't have a problem with a homosexual in the shower with them? I mean I'm just asking because I would feel extremely awkward personally and I just assume most heterosexual men would.
Then why are you libs & your liberal news outlets so threatened by them?Ain't no one tryin' to shut down Fox "News" . Comic relief is good for the soul.
Employers get sued for asking this sh*t.
NFL teams shouldn't be allowed to ask this kind of question
idk why i'm answering seriously but it's because assholes like you (in the highly unlikely scenario that you actually manage or oversee any employees) could discriminate against hiring someone on account of their sexual orientation.
how is it relevant for a football team? are we really ignoring the fact that, statistically speaking, there have likely been homosexuals on football teams for years?
I'm sure there have been. In fact, I know of one guy who played at Clemson and was pretty good. He's a good guy. That doesn't change the fact that somebody's sexual behavior can have an effect on locker room chemistry. But you might not know that based just on the fact that somebody's attracted to other men.
That said, if a flamboyantly gay guy is also a sure-fire star, I don't think anybody's going to care all that much about drafting him.
CBA Article 49 Section 1. No Discrimination: There will be no discrimination in any form against any player by the NFL, the Management Council, any Club or by the NFLPA because of race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or activity or lack of activity on behalf of the NFLPA.Per the CBA they are allowed to discriminate, esentialy.
Its why they only hire males, its why they have age restrictions, its why they are allowed to generally do what they want regarding labor laws so long as the CBA doesnt specifically out law it.
Sure they can ask the question. But it's rather stupid to do so from an HR perspective. There are a thousand other questions they could have asked. If they ask this question and he answers yes, they've virtually guaranteed themselves a legal proceeding if they end up passing on the player. No dumbass they should be allowed to ask that question. Especially since the purpose of asking it wasn't to find out if he was gay, but to see how he would react to the question.
I ain't threatened by anyone, especially Fox. I do think Fox, more than any other news outlet, has a specific agenda. Then why are you libs & your liberal news outlets so threatened by them?
nevermind.. not wasting my time of day arguing over something I will never agree with,
but you did make the effort to click like on all of jimbob's bigotry. just so everyone is clear.
I'll fall for it...Believe it or not, there are a few of us out here that believe in the biblical principle, man & woman...God's way. I guess I'll just have to scrape the bottom of the barrel...
I didn't go through the post to click like on all of his posts but I did on some of them because I agreed with some of what he said, not all of it. Perhaps not even all of a single post but just a part of it. and I really don't give a shit what you think to be clear. I will say though that liberals like yourself are not accomplishing anything or making the world a better place by calling people bigots and shutting down all discussion with name calling and shutting off anyone who disagree's with your opinion.
Let me guess I am a bigot, racist, homophobe, right? lol
Just wait until that kid Cali kid from Vandy goes to the combine lol.
So tired of politics in sports. That being said, that should never be a question in that type of interview.
