There are many, many people who don't drive either do to financial restraints, or maybe due to living in a city that has public transportation. There is zero reason for those folks to pay to get a Driver's License

Think about it...they have find the ballot owner on the voter roll, and make perhaps a split second, subjective opinion as the whether or not the signature matches. And then repeat this exercise for every mail in ballot cast.

Common sense. The federal government needs to ensure that federal elections are fair. If the people in State A are ok with not requiring valid ID and proof of citizenship to vote in State elections, that's on them. However for federal elections are a different story.

We need to at least believe they are fair...and I just don't know how we get there without, minimally, voter ID.

I think they had to have Harris or else they would lose the campaign funds raised for Biden/Harris. So as long as Harris was on the ticket they got to keep the funds and not start over. They sure didn’t pick her for her intellect or popularity.
