This isn’t a matter of sides. I said the same thing the minute I watched the video. Angry rioter breaking through a door and you are the last line of defense before the horde reaches members of congress… Pretty easy to see how that one plays out.

You must be new to this board. We have had this democracy vs republic discussion a number of times already over the past 6 months. Every time the argument came from pro-insurrection supporters who lectured the rest of us on how we supposedly didn’t understand the intricacies of our system, we are not a democracy, that the Jan 6 rioters were heroes just as the Boston tea party guys were, etc.
