I just talked to the Direct TV stream guy and tried to cancel my account. Basically, he refunded me $85 for having to buy YouTube TV for a month.
I was still about to cancel, but he said YTTV was having their negotiations with ESPN/Disney, in December. They signed a contract in 2021, but it expires.
Sounds like Disney is extremely greedy and this will become a yearly issue with the various streaming platforms. Just wanted everyone on here to be aware. Losing service to ESPN/ABC in December is better than August/September, though.
