From what I've read it's been "approved" by the Conference Membership, correct? I would imagine this is a bitter pill to swallow for basically every school that's not named Clemson, FSU, UNC, or Miami. I'm sure Wake has seen the writing on the wall for years but if I'm an NCST or VT fan for instance, I'd want my AD to go down fighting...
