Two fascinating matchups.
I've taken a liking to the 49ers in recent years, and I'm a bit apprehensive about this matchup (which probably means they blow the doors off the Lions).
A lot of justified talk of Deebo's importance, and what Purdy we'll see.
But I can't get away from the idea that the Niners' biggest problem is their pass rush hasn't been what it's supposed to be.
The whole defensive scheme seems based on getting quick, consistent pressure with the front four. That area has been a disappointment this year IMO.
If they can disrupt and pressure Goff early, that's probably a game-changer. But I don't have a ton of faith in that happening.
