It's because of all the exercise he gets from all the golf he plays. And the orange makeup works wonders.
I am very surprised by his appearance as almost every president in my lifetime has gone through a lot of change over the terms

He was already an obese, hair coloring, spray tanned geriatric when he took office, how much worse could he get?
He could turn into a creepy, senile, corrupt, career politician, Joe Biden.

He was built for this job. He’s a borderline workaholic who’s already lived his whole life in the toughest media environment in the world NYC. He’s plays the press like a Stradivarius. He endlessly pushes their buttons and the media responds like Pavlov's dogs. He lives for a media fight and revels in beating people down and winning. He brought his Real Estate company back from bankruptcy multiple times and built a multinational empire employing tens of thousands of people. He’s a flawed person no doubt, but many many leaders are flawed and still succeed. He has an Ivy League MBA and loves when he’s underestimated. He’s withstood an unprecedented level of criticism, and over 93% negative press coverage yet he stands unwaveringly up to the challenge every day. Yes he speaks in an unsophisticated manner and exaggerates-and stretches the truth. But at the end of the day since he took office who has beaten him? An entire media complex is aligned against him twisting every thing says and does, trying desperately to hurt him and he stands his ground not flinching. Hate him all you want but he’s unflappable, he’s his own man. He does what he wants with his finger in the air to the people who will say and do anything they can to stop him, but they always fail. He’s become a martyr of sorts with a lot of people because as arrogant as he is he won’t give up and he wins. The vast majority of his policies have been successful. He’s stood up to all the corrupt leaders of the world and they’ve all backed down with a few exceptions like Iran and N. Korea. I don’t particularly like him but I can’t help admire someone with his toughness and resiliency. He’s a corona virus to the cesspool establishment of DC, an total outsider who points out the corrruption and the fact that these scumbags aren’t there for us but themselves. Yah I’m disappointed I’m his relinquishing to the idiot bureaucracy that insisted in an unprecedented violation of our rights and in an insane overreaction with with extremely limited knowledge of the true facts about the virus. I’ll still take him over any President or candidates since Reagan and probably any President before since Lincoln.
