I personally don't have a huge problem with not wanting to sign a guy who's going to use your team's standing to promote his personal political crusade, and I think people would understand that point of view if there wasn't so much passion around the issue of alleged police discrimination. But when you combine that with him being a mediocre to slight better than average QB, teams probably had better choices.
