Four Oath Keepers Convicted of Seditious Conspiracy by DC Kangaroo Court for Marching Up US Capitol Steps in a Stack and Singing National Anthem on Jan. 6

Four Oath Keepers Convicted of Seditious Conspiracy by DC Kangaroo Court for Marching Up US Capitol Steps in a Stack and Singing National Anthem on Jan. 6

"On the day of the attack, Moerschel, Hackett and Minuta all entered the Capitol clad in tactical gear.

Prosecutors said Minuta led a group of several Oath Keepers into the Capitol and clashed violently with police, all the while screaming it was "their building."

There was not a Kangaroo court.

The oxford english dictionary defines kangaroo court as:
  1. an unofficial court held by a group of people in order to try someone regarded, especially without good evidence, as guilty of a crime or misdemeanor.
"they conducted a kangaroo court there and then"

There was a trial by a jury of their peers selected with input from the prosecutor and their defense lawyers. Just the way it's supposed to work according to the US Constitution. And they were found guilty.

Trial was in DC? Yeah, it was fair?
If they don't like being tried there, they shouldn't have come there.
Yes, the trial was in DC, where the crime was committed. Like just about every trial in the US. Why can't it be fair in DC?
The lawyer for the guy who had his feet propped up on Nancy's desk was arguing that DC is not a state and is 90% Biden supporters and therefore he couldn't get a fair trial. That's too bad, he should have considered that before he decided to break the law over a lie.

bunch of grown men walking around calling themselves oathkeepers no sht they take it on the chin

What I especially like here is that TGP article that was posted NEVER mentioned that they entered the building and that one of them posted on his own social media a pic of him sitting at Pelosi's desk (which he said at trial that he accidently entered looking for a bathroom). No mention of clashing with police... And yet the article says that the "other" media is biased.

Funny how the same people who think it's totally fine for a cop to just shoot someone in the back for not following an order, also think some of the chief organizers of a violent coup aren't getting fair treatment.

What's the phrase you lot are so fond of...play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Really... Look man... Go to FoxNews and look at that footage of Trumpians bashing the cops for the purpose of stopping congress from certifying the election. I was watching that day (FoxNews) and saw what was happening. You can too. You can hear folks chanting hang Mike Pence before they broke in and started breaking windows to get inside.

I know that Trump and company told you it was a peaceful protest. It's one of those cases where Trump tells you: "Who are you going to believe? Me or your lying eyes?"

You obviously believe Trump and not what ANYONE can see from the live tape.
