A kicker that Danny Ford brought on board the team who came from our soccer team. I seem to recall him opening the job up for tryouts and any student was welcomed to give it a shot. I swear, I think one of our soccer players took over kicking duties. Can’t remember if it was just for kickoffs or for FGs and maybe even punting. Could this be a good way to address one of our glaring weaknesses this season?
Also, I was trying to google the answer and happened upon this article about Dale Hatcher — who was the best punter outside of Ray Guy in that I’d ever seen. Definitely the best I’ve ever witnessed in person. Anyway - enjoy!
