It seems like everyday there is a cop that kills a person that wasn’t armed and shouldn’t of been killed. Most people give a cop the benefit of the doubt for some reason.
It's football season but stupid post like this should never be posted. Yes some police are bad but it doesn't outweigh not having them.It seems like everyday there is a cop that kills a person that wasn’t armed and shouldn’t of been killed. LolYou left out what the "unarmed" person was doing. You have no idea if the cop knows if the assailant is armed or not.
I'm getting fukking tired of people!even riding cops asses. Put on a uniform and get into a situation where you feel you life is on the line and then get back to me on how you feel about your decision making.
We should be honoring any person willing to give their life to protect you.
It sickens me to listen to all these spoiled little brats thinking they know better.
Cops and military personnel should be honored. Nothing more.

Clueless again.Sorry. Won't put on a police uniform because I wasn't in remedial high school classes.
We all acknowledge that these people are losers until they start doing the hard and worthy work of controlling black people. Then the kid who wore #61 on your high school football team only because there was a no-cut rule, and who piddled through high school making Cs in easy classes becomes a hero because...reasons.
No thanks.

He's right you know... I'm all for giving the cops the full benefit of the doubt. Their job is hard. Hours and hours of methodical work mostly dealing with dumbasses of one flavor or another that AT ANY MOMENT might turn into a life or death situation.
I HATE ****KERS like this GT guy. If you wanna kill yourself you need help, I get that. We can do more as a society to help folks like this, I get that too. BUT when you decide to kill yourself, you have NO BUSINESS making someone else that you don't even know do the dirty work for you. That's just wrong. The cop that shot this guy has to live with that for the rest of his life, b/c this guy was too cowardly to get help or at least do the job himself.
Not to mention that a knife is a deadly weapon and if the person that is using it gets in close, they are far more likely to win a fight than the cop who's primary weapon is now just a hand held club.
Dude...I don't even have the words to trash this post as much as it needs to be trashed...
Clueless again.
A pocket knife is not per se a deadly weapon. Even in Texas. According to the Court of Criminal Appeals here. And according to common sense.
A pocket knife can be used in such a manner that it becomes a deadly weapon. Holding it at your side is not that manner.

I'm making sure I'm understanding what you are saying. Police,FBI,Secret service, etc.... is uneducated? No. Clueless is the look on a police officer's face when he gets ripped to shreds on cross examination. The best part of the criminal justice system is watching them fidget under oath when skewered by someone smart.
Of course, they'll lie their asses off and jurors will believe them anyway. So it doesn't matter.
If you believe this shit then your parents had to be huge POS's. It is scary to think more and more idiots believe shit like this every day.Sorry. Won't put on a police uniform because I wasn't in remedial high school classes.

Dude.. the man wrote a suicide note and took his knife out to threaten a cop and a get killed... I hate that he did, but his WHOLE intention was to make the cop kill him.
So has it been said why the cop didn't use a teaser instead of shooting him?

For how smart you constantly reassure yourself you are, you sure doesn't have a whole lot of common sense. I hope you don't let blind rage consume your day job as an "attorney". It must suck having such a shvtty outlook on life.
Seems like the opposite of snowflake. It’s a legit issue in our country. Too many trigger happy cops. Cops are here to supply a service to it’s citizens, not be jury and executioner.Snowflake
