Everything you say here is true, but also could be said about christians. Even today there are many terrorist attacking carried out in the name of Christianity, just like there are for Islam.
That is why it is more important than ever for our nation to maintain the vision our founders had, which included separation of church and state. And that is why it scares the crap out of me whe I see slack jawed yokels in this claiming that Jesus sent trump to save us.
WRONG!!! You got to at least watch something other than 'Fake News' sometimes. The report just came out the day before yesterday (even reported by the Washington Post!) that the amount of illegal immigration is at unprecedented levels right now, even so much that they cannot be processed. So go ahead and believe that narrative while the watch swings in front of your twinkling eyes...

The wall is being built now. Its not completed, but on the way which is a hell of lot better than where we were. As long as it gets built I dont care if the US or Mexico pays for it. It costs the US at minimum over 150 billion per year on illegals in this country, so a full taxpayer financed wall will still save money for the country. Trump is keeping his campaign promises better than any President in my lifetime. You can take the infantile he promised Mexico would pay crap and stuff it...no one cares.

The flimsy crap that was up in most places does not stop most people at all. A significant barrier will stop and severely impede most of the traffic. Stopping and slowing along with cameras, drones, etc will allow border patrol to effectively cover more territory.
Just curious on your thoughts, what do you think about illegal border crossings being at their lowest in over a decade?
Not sure where you get your news, but thats incorrect by a longshot. Record breaking border crossings are occurring this year....now. Pull your head out of the sand please. Watch Fox at least some. I check the lib run channels just to see another perspective.

Btw read your NY Times link, it shows illegal immigration dropping from 2000 until about 2017/18 (when Trump was in office) and then going back up.
It’s funny that I definitely don’t follow party lines either way but I can use logic to tell when something is obvious. You’re doing exactly what you claim your political opponents do, blindly believe what you hear from literal fake news.

Ehh I think a better use of that money would go towards our defense budget. This wall spending is holding up more important things imo
