My wife and i were talking about this last week

Our opinion is the drone owner should be charged with trespass and theright to shot down a down over one's private property air space shoule be tantamount

If you re under say a1000 feet and hovering it should be open season

That was exactly my point. There is more to this story than has been released so far. It just doesn't make sense as its been reported so far.

Would it be acceptable for me to dive my car in your back yard and sit by your deck with a camera and record? I think we all know the answer. So why is it acceptable for someone a few 100 yards away to do it?

Flight Technology show the drone was only in air 2 minutes before it was shot down and was around 200 feet high.

Yep. It was obvious from the beginning that something wasn't being reported here. We still don't know the whole story.
