For those that say "he ran on exactly what he said he was going to do" which was raise tariffs. I will say you are exactly right. Where I went wrong is that I assumed he would repeat his strategy and policies from his first term which were much more muted and focused. This go around is not even close to the same and one I would NEVER have voted for. Shame on me, I will own it, I made a mistake.

I see that same sentiment from analysts, CEOs and Big tech all saying the same thing - they knew he'd impose tariffs but NOBODY envisioned this. We forgive you.
Should last until the recession hits main street and no one has money to buy cars.
Production requires Sales. Sales require Buyers. Buyers require Money.
That's my fear. It's hard not to imagine his comments about a third term were floated intentionally to see if there was pushback.

That's my suspicion as well. There have been huge marches planned for a few weeks all over the US for this weekend, which will probably grow exponentially after the last couple of days. I fear that if the crowds get too large in the future he will clamp down on them and declare martial law in order to silence the last bastion of opposition. He's already threatening universities and law firms into compliance but if the people rise up like they did in Germany or Georgia, I could see him doing something drastic to make us afraid to rise up against him again.
