OT Wendy’s Chili is a LOSER

The workers are more victims than perpetrators

They follow the lead of management down the tubes

We need to sympathize with them but still they are willing to accept doing a poor job and in fairness they are being lead by the nose into the dumpster fire of a restaurant

So, like, you want the Wendy's employees to cook their own chili and serve it to you? Change up the corporate recipe that is a "loser"?
 
I worked at Wendy’s for 2 days 32 years ago and the chili was just as sh$ty then as it is now.

This is true. Chili at Longhorn's is good, also.

However, I make my own in large batches and freeze. During the winter I pull out a container once a week and get 2 lunches out of it. I did so today. Take that, You insolent clouds!

We do the same. Same with beans and stews too. Freeze in small bags and pull out for work lunch.

Nah I don't I get the 4 for $4 when I go to Wendy"s.

Used to be the high flutin poor man's fast food

Now it's no better than BK and McDonalds.

Quality at all those places sucks.

They all suck

The price point for that nasty trash is too much to eat now.

Best go to a nice sit down restaurant and spend a few extra bucks for quality and a hot waitress.
 
OK I am sitting up watching recorded Shows from TV

Have done the research on the. Web printing out every recipe on the web of copycat Wendy’s chili recipes

Have got a plan to slow cook a crock pot full in the next few days

Going to try ground chuck as the base

As the Coup de Grace or final recipe batch I may splurge beyond stupid and have 2 pounds of Wagyu steak ground up and make a pot with this premium meat to see how that goes

Being retired and loving to cook is fun

Plus having a conversation with you guys is even more fun

For a true copy cat recipe, you gotta make burgers on a Monday and somehow turn it in to chili on like a Thursday.
