I guess that settles the iPhone vs Android debate, lol as if there was a debate. But on a serious note, the libs aren't happy that Apple makes it so difficult for them to spy on us.

It's crazy to me that people still use androids. Nothing worse than a good text thread being ruined by an android user.

They'll catch up soon (forced to actually) and then call it groundbreaking technology. 🤣You realize thats an apple issue right? They are using outdated technology
Awkward considering Android has 70% market share 🤣
That’s because Apple is a lifestyle company not a technology company.Android may be better in every facet, i do not know. What Apple has done is make all of their products easy to use and they all work well together seamlessly. For that reason alone i am loyal to them. They've also done a great job of introducing their technology into our everyday lives (apple pay, Car Play, Air Play). For that reason alone i think they'll always be to top choice for consumers.
More that Android allows choice. Want that same stock out-of-the-box functionality? Get a Pixel. Want the highest end components? Samsung. And then everything in-between.My employer allows iPhone only for security reasons. Want an android? No phone allowance, no mobile access, no job.
Androids are like Glocks. Great after you change out all the stock parts.
you got it, my smart friend...Android may be better in every facet, i do not know. What Apple has done is make all of their products easy to use and they all work well together seamlessly. You can in fact do both those things. You have multiple options, share as text or file.I have always had Android phones and been happy with them, but my Samsung Galaxy S22 has many deficiencies. For example I can't share a contact or cut and paste. Disappointing.
Only libs consider privacy and security as outdated lolYou realize thats an apple issue right? They are using outdated technology
I'm on my new Galaxy S24 Ultra, did you say something? It's crazy to me that people still use androids. Nothing worse than a good text thread being ruined by an android user.
They are using less privacy and security currently to maintain the mystique of blue texts.... which is why RCS is coming this year and will fix the issue.Only libs consider privacy and security as outdated lol
Yeah I don’t know anything about security or tech lol. Just found it odd that my employer doesn’t allow android. Typically my most nerdy tech friends all use android though.More that Android allows choice. Want that same stock out-of-the-box functionality? Get a Pixel. Want the highest end components? Samsung. I've got no problem with Apple, but I do think the intentional lack of interoperability, specifically when it comes to messaging, is stupid and only there to create a walled garden. There are no security concerns if both are using end-to-end encryption, and currently apple makes messaging less secure by only allowing sms texts to android.
It's crazy to me that people still think Apple provides anything superior to Android.
There definitely are some security things that, depending on the company, may make apple make more sense. Especially if you are using some applications that only have iOS applications. Really, the same security levels can be met with either, it just depends on the software you load on it.Yeah I don’t know anything about security or tech lol. I guess you do not believe me. I cannot share a contact with the v card. I used to be able to. I used to be able to cut and paste with difficulty but now I cannot do it at all. I know what I am doing. You can in fact do both those things. You have multiple options, share as text or file.
I've never heard that description, but its dead on balls accurate. That’s because Apple is a lifestyle company not a technology company.
There’s a section in Simon Sinek’s Start with Why that discusses this and why other technology companies struggle with expanding beyond their core products.I've never heard that description, but its dead on balls accurate.
Just got home from Germany. 70% is about right. In before someone points out the income gap
