Rush Limbaugh died today

No. It needed to be said. Just bc he’s dead, he’s not off the hook for how he live his life. What’s you think when Trump was vile agains Senator McCain?
Listen man. You sound like a real miserable human being. I’m guessing you don’t have a lot of loved ones in your life. I’m hoping you can find happiness somehow in life, other than taking joy in someone’s death on an internet chat site.

Bless your heart. Not miserable the least bit, I assure you. Pm me if you’d like to learn more.

You can point to specific things that Pelosi and Schumer did that actually helped to improve people's lives. There are few, if any- checkmarks on that side of the ledger for Limbaugh.
I’m sure people feel the exact opposite as you. That’s why I hate politics and how social media has turned everything into a bitch fest.

It's remarkable that people are arguing for decency etc following the death of a man who had a regular spot on his talk show where he read the names of people who died of AIDS and mocked them. He was a horrible person and brought out the worst in our country.

Do you mean the worst in our country like current leaders of the Democratic Party encouraged rioting/looting/killing in the streets of this great country during the summer/fall of 2020? Yet when men and women “stormed” the US Capitol that these same men and women were calling for the National Guard. Why was it ok with them for “protestors” to ruin the businesses/lives of innocent people until it showed up at their door step?

I think Pelosi and many others on both sides of the aisle are looking out for number 1 and they are vile humans. They would stick a knife in your back or mine if they thought it was going to get them ahead. However, as much as I dislike any of them and as divisive as I think they maybe I have not and will not celebrate there death.

Keyboard warrior. I can’t believe you had Tillman as your handle. Did you decide to change it when you became woke? Did you not know if Tillman’s background until the great awakening? Sounds to me like you may be the racist.
Once I found out he was a racist murderer, I wanted no association with him. Is that not understandable?

I'm not celebrating his death. Just honestly pointing out how awful he was and the the damage he did to this country. He was a lonely fat kid and then spent the rest of his miserable life being a bully on the radio.

And yet you have a real racist in your profile pic. A man that gave the eulogy at a KKK member’s funeral. A man that referred to integrating schools as creating a “Racial Jungle”. A man that wrote a crime bill to lock up black “predators”.

Proof? I’m very reasonable. Show me proof and I’ll show you reasonableness.

I’m not going to bat for him. I’m just saying the same folks saying one thing about him or anybody they don’t agree with will flip their views when somebody they do align more with passes.

Which leaders encouraged rioting and looting? Biden quickly and repeatedly denounced those- as did Pelosi. And, those people didn't die today and aren't the subject of this thread. Classic "whataboutism" to change to subject.
Harris
Pressley
Waters
Pelosi

To name a few. Classic “whataboutism”. Good one.

All I can say is that I hope all of this works out for you. Good luck and God speed.

Rush Limbaugh's political views (to the extent that he ever had any real views) aren't even the issue. His hateful divisive rhetoric was and is the issue.

And, when Biden, Obama, Pelosi, Schumer, Clinton or whoever bite the dust, I think it's complete fair to discuss their shortcomings and any negative impact their life/work had. My point is, for Limbaugh, there were no positives. It was all hate and division.

In 2005 he renounced his Klan ties. However leading up to it....seems he was a mixed bag in that his voting would be against inclusion. Interesting. Still reading.

He eulogized Robert Byrd. Look it up.
Racial jungle comment happened at a Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing in 1977. Look it up.
Crime Bill of 1993. Look it up.
It's true that Biden said mandatory busing to integrate schools would lead to his children growing up in a "racial jungle." It's false that he said, "I don't want my children to grow up in a jungle, a racial jungle."

Reading the full context, it seems like he misspoke and wanted more than just busing for integration.

I voted for Biden, but his legislative record is about as middle of the road as possible- which is typical of his compromise/consensus driven approach. He seems to have always played it safe. I don't know enough about Delaware politics to know what it takes to win statewide elections there. Also important to remember that Biden is a throwback to an era when there was such a thing as a conservative Democrat or a liberal Republican. Those days are over with the exception of Joe Manchin.

One of the primary sources of right wing disinformation for decades. The world would be a better place had he never existed.

Very true. The world isn't a better place because of his death. The damage has been done and many others have used his template and are following in his footsteps. His hateful and divisive rhetoric is the animating force of today's GOP.

It SEEMS like you are a racist, misogynistic, bigot. Moving from Tillman to Biden along with your defense of Byrd shows your true colors.

The leading American voice of white supremacy, misogyny, and hatred in general is dead. That's a good thing.
