#BREAKING The state of Texas has seized all city property along the riverfront at the border in the Eagle Pass area under governors emergency powers, including federal processing locations and equipment—This is according to multiple sources.
All access to the property is limited to state authority only. Border Patrol will be permitted to enter the property to remove their equipment and supplies—Agents will not have access to the area unless there is a medical emergency.
I am told that the state plans to start arresting all who cross for criminal trespass—This is not under the new illegal entry law #SB4– They have been arresting for criminal trespass for months.

Article 4, Section 4 puts responsibility on the federal government to protect the states from an invasion.
The Tenth Amendment leaves the responsibility to the states if the federal government refuses.
Texas is enforcing the 10th Amendment.

Denver Health is a client of mine. I work directly with their CFO. Uninsured migrants have created a massive problem for them. $75 million increase in uncompensated care in just 3 years. This is quite obviously unsustainable.

Joe Biden’s border crisis and the unchecked flow of illegals into the United States have plunged Denver’s main public hospital into economic turmoil.
While the hospital system does not ask about or track patients’ immigration status, according to The Denver Gazette, “In 2022, Denver Health saw $125 million in ‘uncompensated care.’ Last year, it ballooned to $135 million. In 2020, the price of uncompensated care stood at $60 million.”
The dramatic rise in the cost of uncompensated care coincides with the flood of 37,571 immigrants into the city.
Dr. Taylor McCormick, associate director of Pediatrics Emergency Medicine at Denver Health, said, “Overall, these patients don’t have medical insurance.”
“Denver Health is eating the cost for many of these visits.”
The hospital has reportedly contacted FEMA for additional federal assistance associated with the cost of caring for illegals.

this is interesting. I applied for a job there recently on their senior leadership team that I did not end up getting. Their CEO, Donna Lynne, ran for Gov as a dem (ran a bad campaign and lost in the primary) but I've worked with her a fair bit.
Significant increase in strain on city budget. Large number of migrants setting up shop in various locations and killing business there. Shelters are full. There just isnt space to put people. Mayor just sent a letter to every agency in the city asking folks to come up with cuts as a result of the amount of money thats been spent on the migrant populations.
It looks like we have lost the nation. The United States is officially no longer a sovereign nation. Somebody has got to be getting paid off or blackmailed.

I don't necessarily think Texas is disregarding this SCOTUS ruling but they are definitely pushing back.
The SCOTUS ruling allows the USGov to cut the wires, but says nothing of Texas putting up more wire. At least thats the way i understand it. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
