So the solution to that is to encourage Putin to invade countries we’re members of a defense treaty with? Thereby dragging us into a war or shredding whatever semblance of credibility we have left abroad?
Boy that will fix the debt! Let’s tell other countries to pay more or get invaded, as if that’s going to somehow change our budget situation to an extent that amounts to anything other than a rounding error.
This isn’t the thinking of serious people. Trump had 4 years in office to reform entitlement spending and cut the deficit. Did he manage it? Nope. The deficit is a “conservative’s” favorite thing to cry about and campaign on without doing shit to fix
