LeGuernic (8.47 era 0-2 W-L 17IP 17H 16r 16er 12bb 21k) has been less than stellar up to this point. With the back half of the year looking like it could be a gauntlet with several t-25 and a few likely t-10 opponents how would you handle it? Here is a look at our upcoming schedule:
3/25 Tue Coastal Carolina
3/26 Wed Presbyterian
3/28 - 3/30 at Georgia Tech
4/1 Tue Georgia Southern
4/4 - 4/6 at California
4/9 Wed Gardner-Webb
4/11 - 4/13 Stanford
4/17 - 4/19 Louisville
4/22 Tue Georgia
4/24 - 4/16 at NC State
5/2 - 5/4 at Florida State
5/6 Tue at Coastal Carolina
5/9 - 5/11 Duke
Feels like we would likely need to have it figured out by the Louisville series. IMO you give him one more shot this weekend to see if he can work it out and if he can't get it done Sunday, start auditioning midweek guys for Cal and Stanford.
EDIT:
I had not realized that LeGuernic has had 6 starts already and 4 of the 6 starts he has failed to make it through 2. Give Bailey the ball Sunday.
