I also don’t really understand where it’s coming from. For so long he’s taken so many isolationist positions, then after winning in November he all of a sudden started talking about annexing other countries.
I just can’t imagine how anyone could possibly think its a good idea that we get directly involved in Gaza, whether its an occupation or annexation or whatever. If you think we should support Israel diplomatically or provide aid, even weapons, etc? Ok. I mean, I don’t agree but ok. But troops on the ground? Could have disastrous consequences for decades to come.
The inconsistency is mind boggling.
Any congressman who’s in favor of this crap should be required to deploy there.
