Any numbers to prove that? Because the FBI crime index (which is what they are siting) is what everyone has historically used to measure crime. (Whisper it!!) Including Donald Trump.
Kind of reminds me of that time you used CDC numbers on mortality to "Prove" that the CDC numbers on COVID were fake and that the CDC was Deep State. That still makes me giggle a bit.
Its been well reported from multiple media sources over the last few years that crime is not even being recorded by defunded police departments a majority of the time resulting in reduced numbers while crime is actually running rampant in reality. They are also just choosing to ignore multiple different types of crime by dictates from woke politicians like robbing stores for 999 dollars and beating people up while not killing them....etc. This is a joke. Your brain is damaged if you are unaware of this.
Translation. These are numbers are fake. Unless Trump is reelected and the numbers remain favorable, then the numbers will be accurate again.
I'm taking that as a NO. Who's reporting that crime is not being reported? You got any names or links to go with that "multiple media sources". Can you tell us what police departments have been defunded? The article specifically talks about murders and violent crimes... can you show us where these crimes are being "ignored". I'd LOVE to see some documentation on people robbing stores for $999... hopefully they thought to include the sales tax or they'll be over.
I'm thinking that once again, you just post whatever you WANT to believe as fact when you really have no idea. Again, the article itself (and I'm not going to link it, as I consider CNN to not be a great sourse) sites the FBI crime index on murder and violent crime. That's been the gold standard for years on crime in the US. So show us where you are getting YOUR numbers from. After all, you just made some bold claims. SURELY, you must have a source for them? Right? So where are you getting these numbers from? You didn't just make that shit up did you?

Well, don't get too excited... when he goes on a rampage, posting multiple pages of tweets from random people... I don't generally wade through that. You know, it's hard to calculate that number of times Growlz has been busted posting stuff that even a simple search would show just isn't true. So when he posts these lengthy things showing the latest BOMBSHELL that we all KNOW won't ever see a courtroom, I generally don't bother.
But when he posts something simple that's obvious BS, I sometimes do. The latest is that crime is down thread where he says the FBI is lying about crime and that it's way up. Police departments have been defunded, and criminals are only robbing stores for $999 so that they aren't major crimes. I just asked where he got his info from...
No. I don't give a shit what CNN has to say. It may be true, and it may not. But either way I would not rely on CNN to be accurate. They are peddlers of misinformation and so now anything they say is taken with a grade of slaw.
If you can't prove it then you're just babbling. They may be biased in the news they choose to report but rarely do they just knowingly lie...if they did, they'd no longer be in business. It’s funny to see the revolving door of right wing media outlets. They don’t last because they aren’t truthful. The least “uncredible” was fined nearly a billion dollars for spreading misinformation.
That Greek kid and his site, Rush, Alex Jones, OAN…. It’s incredible that people will follow news orgs with no credibility just because it justifies their party over country biases. Zero intellect in these folks.
THIS x 1000!!! CNN and FoxNews are both biased for sure even in their hard news segments. But they both mostly present the facts and THEN provide us with their biased views. On the other hand, their political commentators are something else, cherry picking facts to provide "proof" of their political agenda.
For instance... the CNN article references the FBI index to say that murders and violent crimes are down. That's a fact from what I see from the FBI numbers... I did not check, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if other types of crime are up and that wasn't mentioned in the article.
But it does make me scratch my head when the folks busting on the media (and not without cause) seem to be all in with random tweeters and podcasts as somehow being truthful instead of somehow holding them to the same standards they seem to apply to the mainstream.
This is really a great point, and the crux of why I won't engage seriously with any of them when they start with the questions. I'm not going to debate foreign policy decisions or federal legislation with people who consider catturd a more legitimate news source than CNN or the Washington Post.
I think you are actually missing out here. I agree that there are some zero intellect folks out there parroting this stuff. But a lot more simply don't care. They have a world view and WHATEVER fits that world view is the truth. They don't REALLY care about truth, lies, good, or bad. They just want to score points for their side.
This is one of the things I dislike most about Trump. Back in the 90s, he did an interview with I THINK Leslie Stall. She questioned him about saying things that simply weren't true and blaming the media who called him on this. He replied that he says stuff like that and then accuses the media of lying b/c that makes people not know what to believe. So that when the media actually catches him, people don't believe them.
Mission accomplished. Trump attacks anyone that disagrees with him... Including government agencies... He's gone after the Intelligence Corps, the DoJ, the FBI, the diplomatic corps, the IRS, and tons more, including the National Hurricane Center. Let me be clear... NONE of these agencies are perfect... They make mistakes and even do the wrong thing from time to time... ESPECIALLY when they are trying to cover their own asses. But are these agencies trying to bring the country down as some sort of Deep State conspiracy? Nope, not buying it.
But the fact of the matter is that most folks don't trust the government anymore. The government is the PERFECT example of the old saying: "Trust, but verify." They mostly try to do the right thing and follow the rules... but they don't ALWAYS do it. And the folks that don't need to be locked up.

Check out this article from NPR from 2022 and tell me you can draw accurate conclusions about crime rates in the U.S. as major liberal cities are defunding police departments and getting soft on crime.
Those stats only confirm that the DNC incited violence during Trump's presidency and stopped when Biden was elected. Schumer, Pelosi, AOC and others made speeches that called for violence during that time. They used BLM, and Antiva to do the DNC's dirty work. Were you asleep during all of that?

Sorry for the rant, but, I've been following politics since Eisenhower was in office and this is the most delusional bunch of Dems I've ever seen. If they can't see that there is a clear agenda to transition our country into a Chinese controlled socialist/communist state, then their brainwashing is complete and they are beyond help.
