They still dont get it...

Nah. People who hate minorities, women, civility, and having to think are why Trump won. Don’t overthink it. The country is just chock full of absolute dumbasses. Trump figured out a way to capitalize on that.
Actually, it was minorities that put him over the top. Especially the Latino vote.

Outside of the misspelling of minorities (sorry, leetp, but have to call something out here before I admit to what I'm about to), this post is completely accurate. As someone who voted for Harris, today has been a weird day of self-reflection as I try to understand whether I've become a member of the "liberal elite". From my perspective, the economy is doing just fine. I don't pay attention to my gas and grocery bills (as they're all just Chase points) while my retirement and non-retirement accounts are doing great, and I think today proved that I'm very disconnected from the majority of Americans on that front.

Ok. I am mature enough and smart enough to realize that I can disagree with someone and not hate them.

But, hypothetically, if I am as bad as you think. Just think of how many providers I can put into the medical field from my position as a professor who think and believe like me after they sit under my instruction. Doesn't sound too good for you. And I have news for you. Most of my co-faculty view the world like me. I will impact the medical field exponentially more than you ever will.
I hope you teach english

(minorites....lol... Small phone, big fingers, bad eyesight... Oh yeah, and spelling is hard)

Do you have kids? I ask because the effects of inflation become far more acute if you have more people in your household you have to provide for. The price of groceries is absolutely insane. How about go buy a car? Cars cost as much as Lamborghinis and Ferraris did when I was a kid. We can debate who and what caused it, but it's a thing.

I want to send my kids to college, but it has become wildly unaffordable--and instead of addressing a root cause, the government just takes from those aiming to be responsible and give it to those who largely have not. That's a thing.

The epidemic of fentanyl and child sex trafficking is a thing. Just last week, in my once sleepy little town, at a trampoline park, two kids were apparently overdosing on fentanyl and Narcan wasn't reviving them. My kids were there. They probably just saw two people die.

The epidemic of criminal foreign gangs is a thing. Many Latin American gangs are acting with impunity INSIDE OF OUR OWN BORDERS! How would you like to have fled the crime and corruption in your former country just to have it follow you here? That's a thing too.

Kamala lost because people forgot how bad it was under Trump. The psychology of inflation is strong. Even though inflation has slowed and Biden achieved a “soft landing” recession it wasn’t enough. Trump/MAGA were able to effectively convince the public that Democrats were causing nonexistent problems.

Rep. Ritchie Torres, D-N.Y:
"Donald Trump has no greater friend than the far left, which has managed to alienate historic numbers of Latinos, Blacks, Asians, and Jews from the Democratic Party with absurdities like 'Defund the Police' or ‘From the River to the Sea’ or ‘Latinx,’"

Truth…. And most Latinos, Blacks, Asians, and Jews don’t like or agree with letting 20 million (or more) illegal immigrants into the country. They knew they were giving the middle finger to all the legal citizens of this country, well on Election Day the people gave them the middle finger back.

They may could’ve survived some of their insanity with a good economy.. but with a bad economy they got their asses voted out.

Yep. The list is huge: Men in women's sports, child trans surgery, men in girls bathrooms, etc... The far left got Trump elected.

I just turned over to watch some MSNBC and this Joy Reid was on. Man that woman is unhinged. She is example number 1 of why Tuesday night happened. But she and others like her just don't get it.

Can't wait to see @johnhugh in ten years after he's experienced real life. Y'all are arguing with a dip shit kid.
He’s mainly trolling. He’s a lib, but he mainly wants to rile people up.

He’s going to be elated that Trump just appointed the first ever female Chief of Staff.

When are celebs gonna realize that no one gives a shite what they think.? They're entertainers and nothing more, stay away from politics all entertainers like Colbert (who isn't funny), Kimmel ( miserable douche), Clooney and every singer that endorsed Kamala like their opinion mattered. BTW, Diddy files are coming as well. LOL

Inflation was worse under Trump

Why are you so hateful? And ignorant? Maybe that’s why you went into teaching/academia. Those who can’t do, teach
There you go, just make stuff up! You may be a great prospective democrat political strategist.

Watching all the news networks today, and the left still doesn't get it. It is all she lost because America is full of racists and sexists. I am literally watching some guy who was involved in the Obama campaign talk on MSNBC right now. He leads off his comments by talking about how he now believes that America has a dark part of its soul and Trump appeals to that.

No. It is the economy stupid. It is the price of food. It is the price of gas. It is the fact that you weirdos can't tell people the difference between a man and a woman. Until you admit that, you will continue to lose ground.
It sure is the economy stupid. One thing I've learned, if the economy has head winds, the incumbent is out of office, no matter what.

I thought white men and women put him over the top. Latinos definitely flipped by a large margin. Apparently, the Harris campaign didn't understand that 2% or Latino's identify with the label LatinX and the DNC just kept calling them LatinX. They also used google translate on some spanish words and didn't research or ask actual Latinos how to phrase things and they completely screwed themselves. The facts are that the DNC and the Harris campaign did NOT listen to people first and told them instead.

I guess it depends on how you slice and dice it to decide which demographic it was that put him over the top, but from what I understand he blew away everyone's expectations with blacks and Latinos.

Still, if half of what you say about the Dems approach Latinos is true, that's perhaps the most damning thing about a modern political party that I've ever heard.
