How insane is that for a statement.

Indoctrination started in public schools, universities and foundation was set. The media generally comes from this pool.

The elites (owners of industrial complex and those holding massive global wealth) simply leveraged the communist (Chinese) and fascist (Hitler) model. They use legitimate and existing social structures to tear down America (which once lined up with the Bill of Rights) and rebuild it using social censorship (wokeness and my truth) to carry their message.

This outcome was predicted in the predictive books written around WWII. Big Brother and censorship is real. Government control seems imminent. And YES some people are that dumb and many American parents have not done their job - evidently.

I don’t think the Chinese are using TikTok to get a treasure trove of information that they couldn’t get elsewhere easily. Facebook (Meta) sells everyone’s data all over the place anyway. Also Meta lobbying to get rid of TikTok so they can make more money and not pay creators. If Meta and others weren’t lobbying to have TikTok shut down it would hardly even be a discussion.

I don't think there is an age limit to uninformed voters.

I despise voting drives. All Americans (even those in crappy schools) have been taught of their right to vote and the responsibilities that carries well before the age to vote. Those who are self-motivated to register to leverage that right and responsibility to vote are the ones who should be voting. I equally despise any barriers to registration that targets populations, but think for the most part there aren't any. (BTW, women of all colors got the right to vote as a cohort last, not black people.)

Picking up a bus of inner-city senior citizens for a paid day trip with lunch to go and vote while a group tells them who to vote for during the trip is repugnant to the republic (and the USA is a republic form of government for a reason).

If a foreign government controls an algorithm that determines what type of content the youth of your country will see, it’s a concern beyond just the data mining issues.

Every federal agency has recommended banning it, it’s already banned on government devices and Trump tried to have it banned 2 years ago.

Totally agree with everything you said. That's what made the last election a farce. They don't even have to take them to vote. All they had to do was bring them a ballot and mail it in for them.

I'd encourage more oversight. Like can someone take a look at outlawing congress from trading in the stock market?
