Time to ban children from churches?

Using the logic of this thread, we need to ban children from schools too. Doesn’t seem like church is the problem.

As I’ve stated before, the purpose of this thread is to specifically focus on the immense danger that our children are in every time they step into a church. I believe that churches are a large enough social institution that they are deserving of their own thread, especially since its often church-goers who point the fingers at others for the very type of abuse they themselves are committing.

If you would like to start a thread about abuses happening in schools or being committed by volleyball coaches, feel free. But that’s not what this thread is for.

If you think the church is immense danger then how do you describe schools?

It doesn't seem like the church is the common theme. Your thesis is quickly falling apart. How do you explain that children are under attack in greater numbers at places other than the church? Maybe schools have something in common with church and you can quickly link those.

Schools have strict reporting laws around everything, and while no one wants to admit something sketchy happened on their watch, they aren't incentivized to protect the idea of teaching or education when someone is accused. I get that false accusations could derail careers and "the devil" could use them to hurt the church or whatever, but the amount of damage done through churches not protecting children/women/etc before/during/after the abuse is absolutely more than treating those situations seriously would be.
