I would to! Denial is never good!
Radcliff looks like a complete fool!
I would to! Denial is never good!
At least you didn't come in hot or anything.LMAO at the liberal circle jerk! Below are comments you idiots have never made.
Heads should roll with this embarrassing event! There is no defending this mistake.
Haha.At least you didn't come in hot or anything.
I thought the withdrawal from Afghanistan was a disaster. While I don't know that a clean and perfect withdrawal was ever really an option, the way it played out was a disaster and organizers or advisors definitely should have been put to pasture.
Was first example that came to my mind.
Agreed. They spent two years investigating Biden's foreign financial ties for an impeachable offense, when Afghanistan was teed up for an impeachment the whole time. Not saying I think he should have been removed but someone should have paid a high price for that disaster. At least you didn't come in hot or anything.

From all accounts it went great to my knowledge.Haha.
How did the Houthi strike, end up going?
That right there is funny.Well this Administration did promise to be transparent...🤣
I guess I went overboard. Apologies. But you seem to wanting to label everyone as idiots who are part of a liberal circle jerk, so feels like you're treating half the country as part of a "they" like we on this site treat Uof. Also think this thread has been fairly tame with decent back in forth and you raised the temperature needlessly. But you do you.Enemy?
I just wanted to share that Afghanistan was a complete and total disaster, and that
this mission was a success but obviously overshadowed by VERY embarrassing internal mistakes!
You're nuts if you don't think this isn't a scandal that deserves everyone involved to lose their jobs
Love this and agree. Although Dems are having a field day here, the actual intel released wasn't THAT key. Granted it puts operation and soldiers at a higher level of risk, but that risk is pretty low. It's not the end of the world and when you are the Sec of Defense or the National Security Adviser, you tend not to fark up a little bit... any mistakes you make tend to be rather huge. That seems to be the case here.Democats can have your win here.
Piss poor. Put soldiers at unnecessary risk. Incompetence gets people killed.
Incompetence goes away with accountability. Hopefully the offender is held accountable. If that is Hegeseth so be it.
YOU ARE WAY OVER THE TOP ON THE PUNISHMENT
Honestly, I did not read every single post before I spit one out. I mainly saw the first couple pages of liberal spew, but I get it.I guess I went overboard. Apologies. Wasn't trying to compare the scenarios at all. Was just the first example I could think of of an embarrassment that I absolutely disagreed with.
Agreed with the above. To that end, I hope we are all on the same page in terms of keeping soldiers safe and not being so carless with data. That said, I think many good points ITT that suggest our data encryption and device usage needs fixing, for lack of a better term.
At most the person that messed up should be fired.
Trump decided that it was OK. He pointed out that it was a small blemish in an otherwise great start to the administration. Sounds like they (finally) admitted their mistakes and aknowledged they could do better.
Personally, I would have fired whomever made the mistake to send a message that our soldiers security is paramount. As it is, I am OK with Trump acknowledging the shortcomings and moving on.
No one, and i mean no one, from the Biden admin should be criticizing this mistake. This is a trivial mistake compared to sh!t show that was the Biden admin.
Not that you need my approval, but I think you are spot on.The issue I have here is not the release of info. Yes that was a screw up and needs to be handled, but it's not the end of the world. My problem is (just like with Hillary)... The fact that all these folks are in a classified meeting and are then texting back and forth on their phones about it. I have no idea if those were government issued phones or personal ones, but they were obviously NOT SECURE enough to keep classified info from going out to any contact with the slip of a finger. That's not good b/c these guys are in a lot of other meeting with even more secret info. In this case the reporter in question reported the slip up (as he should have... he is a reporter after all). He didn't release any of the information he had access to AND he removed himself from the chat. What could have happened if this were someone not as nice? How long before someone noticed that he was there? Would this current chat group continue even past the current situation and into the next situation where US troops are shooting live rounds? That seems more likely than not.
Finally the Sec of Defense trashed the reporter in question. Now like it or not, that's Trump 101. If you don't like the information, trash the source. So I'm not that upset about that. BUT the fact is that the Administration had ALREADY admitted the breach before he trashed the guy. And THAT is just plain STUPID. By saying the reporter was lying about something that was obviously true. The Sec of Defense proved to all the world that when something serious goes wrong, he's more than willing to lie about it and blame others instead of just accepting the mistake, correcting it, and moving on. That's not a good look for someone that you are trusting with the lives of literally millions of Americans.
Well said. My concern with these people is that they seem to think they can deny/lie about what exactly happened with A JOURNALIST in the chat. Not that you need my approval, but I think you are spot on.
I 100% agree the real issue is, if the discussion was classified, why was it taking place were someone without clearance could get access via a slip of the finger. And then beyond that, why didn't someone in that chat group (other than the reporter) go ... "Hey guys, OPSEC. We can't talk about this here".
I agree in it not being a good look for the SecDef. I'm not a fan of the SecDef's response, and some of his previous media engagements, TBH. IMHO, Hegseth needs to internalize more that he is no longer a news/commentary personality. There are plenty of other people to go on the attack inside and outside the administration. He is not there yet.
From the SecDef...less is more. Fewer words. Less commentary. Just stick to business and remember that almost as much as the POTUS.. the words that come out of your mouth mean something and will be used as planning inputs by the DoD and others.
Out of him,. IMHO, it should have been simply (if true) ... "No war plans were leaked, the attacks went well and this incident did not have an impact on the outcome, we will investigate how this happened and if things were done incorrectly it will be addressed and measures put in place to prevent a future occurance. The reporter identified himself and removed himself from the conversation and did not report on the incident until after the operation took place. He should be commended for that. I'll have no further comments on this at this time"
If the shoe was on the other foot we would have impeachment proceedingsI can't believe this actually happened. You can't make it up
I'm sure Comer and his buddy Gym Jordan are all over it!If the shoe was on the other foot we would have impeachment proceedings
They do not owe those senate dem mofos a book level explanation. Since when are any real answers to questions provided in the congressional hearings? The denials and lack of answers from today's hearing speak volumes. Pure incompetence from the highest levels of our government. And it goes directly to the person that hired them.
They owe the American people big time, and when they got a public forum to explain, they tried to wiggle out of it like rats. And Mr Apprentice isn’t going to fire anybody over it from what it looks like. They do not owe those senate dem mofos a book level explanation. Since when are any real answers to questions provided in the congressional hearings?
If you guys are right then start impeachment proceedings. MAGA Force One pushing ahead making America better one day at a time. They owe the American people big time. And Mr Apprentice isn’t going to fire anybody over it from what it looks like.
Rules for thee, not me. As was pointed out in the hearing, if nothing was classified, release all of it
Yeah the MAGA (lack of) intelligence community really makes us proud. If you guys are right then start impeachment proceedings. MAGA Force One pushing ahead making America better one day at a time.
Already setting yourself up for the deep state theory. Took a little longer than I thought honestly.Mike Waltz was just on Laura Ingraham and he said he has never met the Atlantic reporter. He is saying the contact had another name apparently and had that guys number on the contact incorrectly. It would be extremely funny if this was a deep state setup by some admin person who is part of the resistance. Not saying that is the case, but Waltz just said he doesnt know this person and that he didnt add him by his name but he somehow ended up in the correspondence. You libs will quietly and quickly crawl off to another issue if this turns out to be the case.
To clarify though Mike Waltz is taking responsibility for this snafu but he said they are investigating it throroughly.
Putin made this clown wait 8 hours before seeing him. And since these geniuses were doing all of this shit on their personal phones, there's a 100% chance Putin had this idiot's phone hacked while he kept him in Moscow.Apparently one member of the group chat was in Russia? Not great.

True definition of "useful idiots" on display. Mother Russia could only dream of this previously.
