Sure, but there is a process to that. I wouldn’t want the Democrats to remove a Republican without following procedure, and vice versa. You start giving parties the power to remove the opposition without following due process, you’re asking for it.
I don’t even disagree with the premise in your post. Don’t want Congress to manipulate things to enrich themselves. It’s why I’d want them voted out.
Very pro getting everything in the light. My occasional pushback is often we’re seeing only surface level information or distorted etc in an effort to make the opposition look bad (saying opposition because this goes both ways).
A member of congress believing in a cause, getting money for that cause, even being on the board of that cause isn’t evil to me if that is all it is. But if they, for example, were paid a percentage of the money procured, etc. Definitely wrong.
I have an autistic son. If I were in Congress I would absolutely try to get funding or grants for the cause etc. Would be happy to be on a board of a worthy organization to move it forward and bring visibility. Don’t think any of that makes me evil. Now using it to get funds to build a summer beach house on IOP? Yes, should be illegal.

I hear ya. I am not against getting more efficient. I don’t agree with a lot of the way it’s been done. But I am fine with finding and cutting actual waste. I am absolutely fine with going after actual fraud. And prosecuting when found.
I think a mandate to cut X% of your workforce by X date, if they want to force going lean. I think spending 3 months digging in and understanding more before just cutting. I think saying you won’t sign any budget that’s not X closer to balance or fully balance or whatever you want. I think doing the audits and then presenting full results in the light, rather than screenshots meant to inflame the public as they almost never tell the whole story. Just to name a few.

SCOOP: Per WH official on background, later tonight, President Trump will sign an executive order designed to terminate any & all federal taxpayer benefits going to illegal aliens. The order will direct every federal agency & department to identify all federally funded programs currently providing any financial benefits to illegal aliens, and “take corrective action”, ensuring that any federal funds to states and localities “will not be used to support sanctuary policies or assist illegal immigration.”
Additionally, the executive order will mandate improvements in eligibility verification to prevent federal benefits from going to anyone in the US illegally.
