Vaccines for children

72 vaccines before the age of 6.

Whatever you do, don’t look behind the vaccine door. We have already determined there is nothing in there. Remember, we are just asking to take a peak in the closet. As it is, the closet was closed many years ago. And I personally was one of the people blocking the door and holding it tight. But sense we haven’t made any progress looking behind the other doors, maybe we should double back and look behind the vaccine door.

I think my issue isn't a desire to do more research, to make sure that everything we're putting in our/our childrens bodies is safe, etc. My issue is that isn't what is happening. It isn't that people are funding researchers, trying to make sure things are safe. It's people are making correlations and saying they are the cause without actual research behind it. Or they are cherry picking completely awful studies that don't follow the basic rules of medical research, aren't peer reviewed, etc. The problem is your post above is somewhat reasonable (thats a lot of vaccines, we should continue making sure they're safe!), but the "movement" often isn't reasonable.

I don’t think it’s fair to say who is / is not reasonable until a conclusion is reached.

You may call them u reasonable now, but in the end they may be correct.

I laughed in someone’s face before when they told me vaccines cause autism. I now realize that was wrong. I’m man enough to say “we don’t know”. We should allow our scientists to look wherever they want to, no matter how unpopular it is.

Discouragement at looking at all possibilities very well may delay a cure.

Again, saying "we don't know" is reasonable. Saying definitively that it causes autism is not.

Agree. Not sure how you could read any of my posts and think I said anything about definite.

The only thing that is definite is that we definitely don’t know what causes autism.

I didn't say you did. Just like I said your post was reasonable. We are not in a one person wins back and forth. I said the "movement" and I continually said they not you.

MAGA being fully antivax is such a funny stance, tho it makes since with their recent adoption of RFK as a party thought leader.

You don't read very well do you?

There is a difference between being anti-vax and doing actual science. Whatever you do, DON'T look behind the vaccine door. Nothing to see there. No one is anti-vax. We are pro-science and that includes continually forming hypothesis. You can't do that if you eliminate some of the possible outcomes.

It's not 72 vaccines. It's 72 shots, for 16 different vaccines. There's also no credible link between autism and any of the vaccines required for public school acceptance. Also, please don't act like you're just "asking questions" and "doing actual science." It's all anti-intellectual gibberish from people still upset about the COVID vaccine, and now the grifters are extrapolating COVID vaccine concerns to all vaccines.

The OVERWHELMING majority (99%+) of all peer reviewed studies show no credible link between autism and vaccinations, their frequency of being given, or the timeframe of the child receiving them.

I agree that the overwhelming majority of current studies show no credible link.

But that rules out all futures studies too. All I am arguing for is to keep vaccines inclusive in the possible outcomes. Shouldn't be the main focus? Valid argument. Ruling it out 100%? Just plain stupid.

I have no issue with continuously testing the current hypothesis to ensure everything is still above board. However, spreading bullshit tweets about aluminum content, mercury content, Reagan passing the NCVIA in '86, etc is just bullshit to muddy the waters and sow doubt in the safety of vaccines.

What's so annoying is that I have literally answered and given reasons why Autism diagnosis is higher and all these dipshits want to discuss is "but vaccines".

If 99% of studies show absolutely zero link, at what point do we say, "So it's pretty obviously not vaccines!"

It's infuriating to constantly have to answer to "It's not 100% so it could be...."

I don't know what that childhood vaccine schedule is based on. We have a 7yo and 2yo, we've had them get all the require vaccinations that the doctors have informed us about, and they've had no where near that many shots based on how that graphic has things scheduled.

That's because it's completely bullshit that was made up by Anti vaxxers to create fear.
