I’ve got a Cub Cadet 46” that does great for the smaller yard I have.
I do my own maintenance so I’m somewhat familiar with it, but I’m no wiz when it comes to mechanical, so hoping someone here can help.
This morning, I got off the mower to pick up a stick. Disengaged the blades, left it running, got back on and the blades would not engage.
From what I thought was a thorough look, nothing seems out of place. Checked the housing, the blades, the belt and even the safety connection but nothing seems loose or out of place.
The safety feature seems to still work because I cannot turn the mower on with blades “on” and I cannot get off with blades “on”.
But the blades do not come on. Otherwise, it seems fine. What am I missing?
