We have mentioned that Cornelius (N.C.) Vance 2021 high-three star linebacker Power Echols has been planning to visit Saturday, and perhaps with significant reason.

Echols (6-0, 205) has listed Clemson as the favorite since earning an offer at the Dabo Swinney Camp in June.

He has talked openly about potentially committing soon, and the next step in advancing his recruitment stood to be having his father travel in from Arizona to check out Clemson for a game, too.

We would now tell you that Echols is no longer planning to visit Clemson this weekend, per TigerIllustrated.com sources.

Clemson picked up a relatively surprise commitment in September from Philadelphia (Penn.) St. Joseph linebacker Jeremiah Trotter.

We have reason to believe the Tigers would ideally like to take things slow before adding another 2021 linebacker because of several factors.

UNC has been next-in-line behind Clemson for Echols, with Virginia Tech also involved.
