I find myself re-organizing the garage or replacing screws in the wooden fence that have backed out or rusted out. Problem is, garage is super organized and the fence will now survive the apocalypse. I tried just putting my earbuds in and listening to podcasts, but I can hear muffling in the background and when I turn around I see her mouth moving. When I take the earbuds out and say, “what?”, she gets more aggravated because I wasn’t on pins and needles for her ever important beckoning call about some trivial matter.
