Buddy there are tons and tons of examples as to why the war on drugs and the over policing of poor people leads to violence. Sure i care and think we should have gone to the portugal model a long time ago.

What is the Portugal model? I’ve been there twice in the last year and work closely with a ton of Portuguese. Worth noting, Portugal has almost no diversity and about a 2% AA population. So what works there may not translate to the US very well.
