every bit of this regardless of political affiliation can be fact checked and proven. It has all happened and the migrants bused in were even allowed to change their name at the registration if it was incorrect while not speaking English and having someone help them vote. It is really insane all the shit that has gone on in PA already and they've been busing in illegals for months and months from the southern border....also fact
Can you link proof of these “activities “?

I kid you not, I'm having an argument with a twitter magat right now who is yelping about the late vote counting in PA and I explained to him that it's the law and linked an article from the local nbc affiliate. His response:

"NBC = propaganda machine These are owned by democrats. It's not real news"

I responded that the law is the law no matter who explains it and he's free to look it up. His follow up response:

"The law is the law? Seriously? So if the law was to kill someone, then would that be OK? We are given brains and morals for a reason. How the hell do you people have so much loyalty to a government that actively destroys us."

These people are so broken it's frightening....
my god, no way i would argue with people on twitter, its an extra low denominator.

I just saw a speech by trump and how he had a strategically placed black person, one, placed over his right shoulder and literally nodding yes to whatever he said. Such BS!!

I told my wife when we were leaving our election place on Saturday, it’s really a mystery to me with all this technology that we can’t declare a winner the night of the election. Wasn’t that the point of voting machines? More efficiency? I guess the mail in ballots complicate things. It’s strange to me that we can’t figure this out
I wonder who pushed for more mail in ballots? And then claim it’s for voter integrity? Give me a break, “don’t piss in my boot and tell me it’s raining”.

Oh I rarely do but I should qualify this is someone who I've chatted back and forth with over a long period of time. I thought I might could help him but I'm failing...badly. I'm afraid their brains have been permanently co-opted.

please dispute any of the other things I posted and...notice I did not make my initial post political. I simply stated it was a shit show with all the shit going on. Some people cant have a reasonable conversation.

Everything I posted has happened....sorry if you don't like it or take offense

Fact is Dominion Machines already having problems, Nevada has 77k ballots they know of currently with barcodes that could not be ran, 2500 voter registrations under investigation in one county and majority have been confirmed fraudulent with two other counties under investigation, ballot machines attempted to be blown up...all have happened

and there is still a week to go...it is a shit show
He can’t dispute it with facts bro…dude is a freaking clown!

She won elections for SF DA, two elections for CA AG, and an election for CA Senate, which included their open primary system. She was also on the winning ticket for a presidential campaign. So that’s 4 elections as the primary candidate and 3 primaries. Outside of politics, she passed the bar in California, which is a hard state to pass the bar in.

Meanwhile Trump is actively deteriorating mentally, thinks political asylum=insane asylum (hence the Hannibal Lecter stuff), and thought transparency in border wall construction meant the wall was going to be see through. Outside of politics Trump has a wide array of bankruptcies, failed businesses, and fraud lawsuits (see Trump university)
thank you

these people voted for Trump when he had nothing but game show host, beauty pageant host, and trust fund baby who bankrupted 5 or 6 businesses on his resume...and then he added a debacle of a presidency and has gone far downhill since then while adding felon and rapist to his resume. and the moron didn't even have the decency to attend Republic debates this time around after literally installing his daughter-in-law who has zero qualifications as the co-chair of the RNC. you can't make it up.

meanwhile a black woman comes in with this resume as you noted
  • criminal prosecutor
  • ADA
  • DA
  • AG
  • Senator
  • VP
and suddenly these same people who just happen to be experts on climate change, economic markets, vaccines, international expansionism, etc...are now experts on the role of the VP in American politics.

I'd love for a single one of these chuds to give us their top 5 VP power rankings with detailed notes on policies and agendas lol. Maybe one of the resident brain surgeons can help us out with that one.

Until only vote in person with valid ID and no mail in vote (except Military) or any other means of voting will this Country ever be the same. If you can't make it to polling location tough cause everything isn't fair in life but voting should be.
Worked for over 200 years but they used the Chinavirus to rig the election and now it will never be the same!

It is not starting out well for it to be decided...it's gonna be a long week

-2500 voter in Lancaster PA and two other unnamed counties being investigated w/ majority being confirmed fraudulent.

-Nevada has at least 77k mail in ballots with barcode issues that cannot be scanned that they've had to pull them out and attempt to rescan...

-PA is busing in migrants and walking them to the front of the line to vote while Americans have been waiting hours in line. Also, shut down voting centers before closure time because the lines were too long. 4:30 was end time and they cut the line off at 1:45 in the afternoon

-Washington and Oregon had ballot boxes set on fire but luckily it looks like not many ballots were affected and they've been able to reach majority of those voters

-Dominion Machines already have a "bug" and are having issues and they are saying votes will not be properly recorded

-Georgia democrats now has law suites to eliminate security cameras at ballot stations and also lawsuit over ballot hand counting.

This is a shit show already....democrats will steal it again !!!

you realize if America did elections like every other nation in the world instead of sticking to the antiquated system that southern slave owners devised after losing the Civil War that Rs would never win a single vote ever again, right?

You realize our Founding Fathers were genius enough to put in the electoral system so that liberal states like California and New York can’t run this country like their states!!! It was freaking brilliant! Don’t like it, leave.

Let me educate you for a minute.

Creating the Electoral College
To understand the origins of the Electoral College, one should look at life and politics in the United States in 1787.
  • The country had only 13 States, which until 1776 had been separate colonies. The founders believed that State loyalties could trump the best interests of a national government and that it would be difficult to elect a candidate with national prestige. If a candidate was required to win States instead of just popular votes, however, it would be more likely that he would have wide-ranging support outside his home State. This was a concern for smaller States that feared the domination of the presidency by States with larger populations.
  • Support for popular elections was not universal. While some delegates to the Constitutional Convention argued for the popular election of the president, others believed that the public should have a much smaller role.
  • The logistics of a national popular election in 1787 would have been daunting, even for a country of only four million people.
Today's Electoral College looks surprisingly similar to the one used in George Washington's first election to the presidency. The only time the structure of the Electoral College was modified by amendment was in 1804. All other modifications to the original version of the Electoral College as outlined in the Constitution were accomplished through Federal and State statutes. Addition-ally, the 23" Amendment, enacted in 1961, provides the District of Columbia with three electors.

CJ,

Regardless of this personal back and forth you guys have going, PLEASE explain to me how she is "more qualified" for being President with examples and facts(or any accomplishments, like winning a primary). I would genuinely like to hear someone calmly answer this question prudently without straying off point or getting defensive....

The other posters did a great job posting what I would have posted. She's easily more qualified than Trump to be President, just like Trump is more qualified to host a reality TV show. She is an extremely successful individual and I believe her experience will serve her well if she wins. As far as the post getting personal goes, I generally only do that when I'm attacked or name called first.

How is she more qualified than Trump to be President??? One has been President, one has not. One has been called the worse VP EVER, blowed their way to the top and never won a primary, the other has won 3 primaries…

The Electoral College wasn’t about small states vs large states. That’s what the senate is about. The electoral college was designed to be anti-democratic and put a handbrake on democracy. It’s the same motivation that led to the senate being elected by the state legislature rather than direct vote.

Many of our founding fathers were rather aristocratic (in material conditions like the slave owners) or temperament (like Hamilton). They didn’t like the idea of direct democracy, so they put stuff in the constitution to limit direct democracy. The electoral college was popular with powerful white southerners because of slavery/3/5compromise and then Jim Crow.

We should have gotten rid of the electoral college when we allowed direct election of senators with the 17th amendment.

Yes, and the point about small states vs large states is incorrect because the number of electors is dependent on population.

It also doesn’t make sense because the electoral college means campaigns prioritize select swing states and these states are usually larger states. The smallest swing state is Wisconsin, which is #20 nationally in population. 5 swing states (not including Florida, which would make it 6) are in the top 10 most populous states. The smallest states are completely disregarded

Thanks…thankfully the Founding Fathers got it right and we will never go to a popular vote!

Well that is something but absolutely nothing relevant from the last 4 years. Also, SF is not a shining beacon of successful politicians. Place is a total shithole now and was once a wonderful city. And that is not from Fox news, that is from first hand experience.

I appreciate the level headed response. Just have to strongly disagree but that's our right, correct? Now back to football! :)

This is the problem without sweeping changes it's not even an election.

Stop all the early voting/mail in ballots- majority is already fraudulent. Get your ass to the polls in your district and vote on ELECTION Day. Only exception is military personnel stationed overseas.

I don’t see the issue with early voting. I’ve always voted on Election Day, but will be in the BVIs next week. I voted early yesterday.

I do think we should limit mail in and drop off ballots.

In Colorado, we had our ballot mailed to us. And frankly, it's awesome.
There's judges, propositions, and amendments that I had time to do some research on while voting. I was able to take a couple hours and go through things and look stuff up. Whereas were I at a voting booth, I wouldn't be able to do any of that.
I'm a MUCH better/informed voter because of being able to mail in or drop of a ballot. It's how it should be everywhere.

You know you can view a sample ballot before going to vote right? Take all the time you need to research and make your selections. Then show up and press the buttons on the screen.

If Florida can have their count in on election night, why can’t all the swing states? None of them are even close to the population of Florida

Because there are these little things called laws, and politicians actively work to ensure the laws prevent the counting of ballots early. It's not hard to comprehend.

There were about 30 items or so to vote on for me. I don't know if I'd fully be able to remember all of them for sure, especially some of the judge names.
It's incredibly easier to have a ballot at home to go through it. I just can't understand why that's not a normal practice after having now done it.

What’s wrong with a popular vote? Besides it helping democrats and hurting republicans?

Because candidates would just focus on policies that appeal to the large population centers and primarily focus on campaigning there. The EC forces candidates to have policies with broader appeal and to acknowledge broader areas of the country.

The election will be a landslide for Trump and will be easily decided on election night.

Kamala is the worst candidate in our lifetimes.

It’s not a normal practice because it’s not secure. Next question?
