Again, I am not saying you're a liar. And I didn't lie about what you mentioned. That just never stops coming up. I conveyed something I was told from a source I trusted which ended up being false. I admitted as much, apologized and that I wouldn't do it again. Yet here we are years later and you're bringing it up. There's no there, there! That tells me you don't have a lot to go on.
My issue with folks like you can be depicted in the following snip-it from a piece done on the AfD.

Ideologically, the far right is characterised by nativism and authoritarianism.

In Germany, nativism carries a historical legacy. “Völkisch nationalism” was one of the core ideas of the 19th and early 20th centuries that was broadly adopted by National Socialism to justify deportations and, ultimately, the Holocaust."
There's so much wrong with this because it just takes massive leaps that completely undercut its credibility. Wanting to protect the culture of a country/society isn't the same as being xenophobic. It's also not accurate to pin the holocaust on these views. Those were two different things. That's like saying driving a car will end up in a person driving through a crowd to cause a mass casualty event. Both involve driving but the extremes involved are too absurd to even link.
I don't know a ton about the AfD and what I do know does have some concerning elements to it. But again, when you allow unchecked immigration from places that do not culturally assimilate and it ends up impacting the quality of life in a country, there's going to be a reaction. We are seeing that now and if there had been a moderate and common sense approach, we wouldn't be here now. At some point, it would be great if we became intelligent enough to recognize these wild pendulum swings from one extreme to another aren't good for us as a society.
