I don't represent all liberals when I say this, but the border is the one area that I believe the new admin has fumbled. I do believe they are taking constructive steps to address the root of the problem but I don't agree with catch and release and I liked the stay in Mexico policy personally. I don't approve of taxpayer funded housing for illegals either. So in short, we agree on this issue for the most part.

I'm a lot more of a hardass on crime and the border than the average Democrat and my opinion is this should never have gotten to this level in the first place. As much as I hate to say it, it was a smart move on behalf of Abbott to ship them to sanctuary cities to bring the border crisis home to every state.
