Football allocation $

What will it take to be competitive with most schools? If we have 85 guys making a minimum of $150k, with another 20 walk on quality guys making $50k, that puts us at $13.75 million. That should still leave another $10 million or so for bigger salaries, signing bonuses, in season raises, etc. I can’t imagine that being too far apart from what the big boys are going to be paying. I’m ok with us not throwing the Bryce Underwood’s of the world millions but I would like to see us go for some more proven guys out of the portal at a higher price tag. Thoughts?

If 3 way 8-0 giving Miami and Clemson wins…

Clemson has the WORST SOS and would not go to CLT. I gave Miami a win over GT and Clemson over Louisville. Each team only has 5 ACC games each left this weekend.

Going into the final weekend:
MIAMI 24-35
SMU 22-37
CU 20-39

Yes, you must add an additional loss that SMU(Cal) and Miami(SYR) would create for their opponent.

Miami gets the Cal loss added and a WF/Duke 1-1 as well.
Clemson gets VT/UVA 1-1.
SMU gets Pitt/BC 1-1.

MIAMI 25-38 (1 outcome)
SMU 23-39 (2 outcomes)
CU 21-40 (3 outcomes)

What am I saying - Clemson would need wins from Wake NcState and VT to overcome SMU.

We were a Louisville win and Cock win from avoiding CLT and hosting a CFP game.
