Feds out of Education

So what is the plan to replace the massive amount of federal funds that make up the vast majority of Education costs for every state?

Stupid Idea that like many of his "plans" have no actual plan. South Carolina can't fund their education without the federal funds. Get ready for massive State Tax increases.
Why do you assume Federal Tax dollars will not be used? Power back to the states.

How do you think the current situation and political climate on college campuses came to be in the first place? My opinion is there is a litmus test based on political ideology. There needs to be a major correction imo.
Good question. I think first off that it is likely not a simple question with a single answer. Actually have a friend that teaches sociology at Clemson currently, and I'll ask him if I can remember next time I see him.

Some thoughts on it:
1. I don't think it is necessarily new.
2. I do think social media and the integration of the internet to ever corner of our society has generally seemed to take whatever people feel/are/etc and make it more concentrated (so this goes to more than just college campuses, but all of politics/religion/sports/etc, but do think college kids are prone to emotion in general)
3. I think college is a prime time in peoples lives to start asking questions, you're finally out on your own, but may not yet have the emotional maturity to deal with all the thoughts. So something like Gaza. I don't think wanting children not to be collateral damage, killed, etc is a bad thing. Wanting to end bloodshed in general. And those are things with huge emotions. But I think emotional maturity is also being able to look at the gray, understand the world isn't always simple, and you can advocate for things you believe in without going to the opposite extreme.
4. I also think that is an age you see people being open to almost manipulation by outsiders. I am not necessarily saying thats what professors are doing. I think the GREAT majority are good people just trying to do their best, and may disagree with us on some stuff. But I do think some older outside organizations may use that age group to advance their agenda, using their energy and ease college kids get behind activism. I also think you see a lot of recruiting at this age to the far right as well to be fair. Or to like skin heads, etc. Kids that are now out on their own, have a lot of feelings, are unhappy with some things, maybe feeling rejected, then someone else comes in or finds them in an online community and now all of a sudden they have people who accept them, give them someone else to hate etc. Feels like what happened with the Charleston shooter for instance.

When you say "My opinion is there is a litmus test based on political ideology. There needs to be a major correction imo." what do you mean?

You might want to review what you think about what the right thinks. Maybe try and take some time and talk and ask questions instead of gaslighting. Im a diehard Trump guy, that doesn't stop me from being critical of some things he says or does. Not sure why you are bringing Trump into a thread about something that has nothing to do with Trump except to gaslight. Maybe as you say you are confused and made a wrong turn into a non Trump thread...
One such promise: "We're going to give our police their power back," he told rallygoers in Waukesha, "and we are going to give them immunity from prosecution."

Between police and prosecutors, law enforcement officers are arguably already the most powerful people in government, so it's unclear what Trump means by giving them "their power back." His second promise, though—immunity from prosecution—is more concrete, and a reminder of the former president's views on government accountability.

You guys gave him a mandate right? Or is this just hyperbole? Or is this just Trump saying how it really is? Who knows?

Trump is actually in the OP. The tweet references him and qualified immunity, the thread starting post is literally criticizing the former presidents position on Qualified Immunity. So maybe I am confused, because words and context have meaning to me.

Im confused, why would anyone criticize DJT's policy decisions? Don't you want to MAGA? Outlaw protests? Enable police to bash people's heads in for speaking their mind?
pussies.
