“Remember we all used to laugh at Dabo for not using the portal?

Well who's laughing now? They have an actual football program and we have a dumpster fire. I think Dabo is a great coach and is ahead of the curve. He realized that building through the portal is not how you build a proper football program that sustains success. They have roster full of guys who are committed to the program. We have a roster full of guys who are paid mercenaries and couldn't give less of a shit about our program. Mike needs to learn a thing or two from Dabo about how you build a program. As of now I think Dabo is a far better coach than Mike. Our win last year was very lucky. We still don't have a formula for success in this rivalry. Clemson's approach to NIL is far superior to ours. They've built up the trenches while we blow all our money on receivers and DBs. It's no wonder they kick our o-lines ass. They spent loads of money on their d-line. Full of 4 and 5 stars. Another very smart thing they are doing is that they force kids to shut down their recruitment when they commit. Notice how Clemson never has any big decommitments? They're not looking to pinch every penny and find the cheapest paid mercenary, they're looking for guys who actually love their program, whether that's a 5 star or a 3 star that nobody else recruits. It's no wonder that they own this rivalry and will continue to do so until massive changes our made to our entire philosophy. Mike better be taking notes.“

Is there not going to be a “Forecast” article today? Dabo said we were playing “Bye” in the Valley at noon. I was interested in reading our historical record vs bye. I remember in the late 90’s we would have been a touchdown underdog to bye.

Syracuse started their seasonal swoon last night. Important to remember Stanford got their only win in conference against Cuse and you can see why. Their scheduling OOC always boosts their records before the meat of conference play cools them off.

Pitt did nothing on offense(217 total yards) on the night. I was surprised at how little they ran the ball. They had some incredible bounces of the ball combined with individually great INT's that gave them the game.

Narduzzi coaches hard no matter the score. He was giving his OC crap up 31-0 . His DB's are some of the most physical in the league and the bye week had his defense really dialed in. They deserve more fan support than what they get.

Pitt's QB took a hit to the head with the score at 38-6 and pulled himself out of the game, kinda wild he was still in the game in the 4th quarter.

Cuse ran 93 plays on offense compared to 44 with Pitt. Mind blowing for that kind of result.

So, my wife's youngest sister and her new fling are coming over for Thanksgiving. They are 23 years old and like to think they can out-drink me and every other person they meet. So, I am looking for something I can make up that will result in these 2 being poured into an Uber after lunch is over with. Wife said no to hunch punch, because "that's what rednecks drink by a bonfire, not what is served at Thanksgiving". Give me some options. Liquor cabinet is fully stocked. These two wont shoot bourbon with me.
