🦺 🚁 Official Mountain Relief Thread

There will be thousand(s) dead in the NC mountains alone. It will be above the death toll of Katrina which was 13-1800.

I have some contacts up there that are telling me that there are bodies tangled in the fallen trees under bridges and in the mud. They only see hands, legs, etc sticking out of the "new" earth. Not including people in swept away cars, houses, and missing down river.

In Buncombe County alone there are 2 refrigerated trucks full of bodies, they have requested 3 more trucks and 500 body bags. 1 county.

I will continue to post any updates I get here and I hope others will as well.

Defense playing to score

I have noticed during the last couple of years that we seem to let up whenever we get a big lead or when we get ready to go onto halftime, we tend to let up and the other teams score or make the games a lot closer. We can’t keep doing this or we are going to get bitten in the butt. Louisville, Pitt and VT can score quick so we better not let the foot off the pedal. Then we got a much improved SC team chomping at the bit to take us down. Hate to sound like a Boy Scout but we better be prepared. Talent wins games but so does desire.

If Harris wins what's the story? If Trump wins what's the story?

So basically what do you guys will be the story behind the victory for either candidate if they win?

For me, the story behind a Harris victory would be suburbs shifting blue, a surge of women voting for Harris, and the Dobbs effect. The story behind a Trump victory would be people are still upset about the economy and inflation, and Biden stayed in the race too long.

This should be a concern of all political parties.

I went to vote early in Fulton Co. Georgia today and while there a lady walks in with two ballots and a question for the poll workers.
She wasn't protesting or angry but asked a great question to one of the workers who had a non answer and actually responded with " that's a good question" and could see her face was confused and then said I've done this for many years and we've NEVER REQUIRED ID's for voters dropping off votes to a ballot box.

Lady: "My question is how do my two kids get ballots at college when their home address is where they registered and a GA requirement as well that all ballots get sent to your HOME address and I'm here with them and you have no idea who these ballots are and not asking me for an ID to deposit them in the box, plus how do you know that I'm an family member?"

Poll worker: "great question but I've worked here for many years and we've never required ID from anyone dropping off absentee ballots, we just trust that people are honest and do the right thing" LMAO

WTF?
