Maggie was with her……something happened to cause the fall.Agree. And was the housekeeper's death really an accident or did Paul push her down the stairs.

I don't think these people are saints, but they obviously believed he did not do it for a long time, then he admitted they lied to them, and then the jury comes back after a few hours with a unanimous guilty verdict. My guess is they are probably in a weird place where they really don't know what to believe, and that has to be very difficult. I don't know what you say if you don't know if your loved one is a murderer or if he was just sentenced to life in prison for a crime he did not commit.Fair enough. Appreciate the perspective.
Mr. Harpootlian, the Snapchat video evidences that you were in fact NOT napping but taking cheap shots on the TI board. Oh what a tangled 🕸 web you weave liar🤥Mr. Waters, if you say it’s #7071 and have the documentation that says it is, I’m not gonna dispute that with you. I was napping between #7057 and #7081. I have no recollection of #7071.
Lol at shaving his head. Went from owning properties with names to hoping Buster drops a lil coin into his account to make swole.
Probably shaved his ginger locks because they clashed with the canary yellow jumper.
Prison Ramen is something special, apparently.Lol at shaving his head. Went from owning properties with names to hoping Buster drops a lil coin into his account to make swole.
(Ramen made in a crushed up Doritos bag for those that don't know)
I'll always remember hearing the OJ Simpson acquittal verdict and feeling stunned. I believed that OJ killed his wife like I believe that AM killed his wife and son. I actually feel more stunned with AM's guilty verdict.Listening to one of the Murdaugh podcasts this morning that posted a quick update on the Guilty charge, they mentioned there was cheering in a Walterboro restaurant/bar that was showing the live broadcast of the verdict announcement and also mentioned cheering in a Charleston restaurant. While I felt he was guilty, I can't say that would be my response.

Only a honey bun carries more value.
Court appointed lawyers are currently in control of all Murdaugh assets. When does John Marvin recuse himself as being in charge of Maggie’s estate.
I respect the Proctor family for their decision to remain out of the spotlight, but surely there’s got to be some things going on behind the scenes.
I have tremendous respect for how Maggie's family has handled this. Her sister was beyond class on the stand, being truthful and nor stacking her testimony with vengeance.This.
Her death was an accident. Town gossip just alludes otherwise. Paul was very close to Gloria. Her death hit him hard evidently.Agree. And was the housekeeper's death really an accident or did Paul push her down the stairs.
I'd like to know if those who bitched enough to get this thread moved into Exile Island have been reading this thread. They could have ignored the thread.I’d like a list of the top 5 posters in the thread. They should take a bow for keeping this going, even in the dark days of being relegated to the lower forum.
You've either been there and done that or have a relative/friend that hasOnly a honey bun carries more value.
I believe it was an accident. Who would have done it? Maggie? Unlikely. Paul? No way.I definitely think that was a cover up...no clue who did it or who was even there but for there to not be an autopsy after it happened which was unusual because there was conflicting information that coroner never got.
Days prior she had found pills taped under the bed and did not tell Maggie but told Paul. They have said tripped over the dog, dog jumped on her, etc. but she was going up the steps and went backwards
Many believe her death was because she knew too much but friends of Paul said he would never do it because he loved her too much. Others have hinted they think Maggie may have done it?
Another unsolved mystery
For a "loving family" there sure are a lot of bad things that happen around them that seemed to get covered up
I'll file that away in the "Hope I Never Need to Know File." But since we never know, it's filed.Only a honey bun carries more value.
That’s some Freddie Kruger scariness right there.

She was an older later walking up the stairs with a bag of McDonald's in one hand and a drink in the other. I can see excited dogs tripping her up or knocking her down.
The cartels were involved, and you will see in the next couple of years. That’s some Freddie Kruger scariness right there.
Lebanon KY is up there too, right?I believe it is the second or third longest. The penny stock thread is the longest all-time.
Can he commit suicide and his beneficiary get paid? That’s what I’d probably do if I was in his shoes. I think my policy allows suicide after a waiting period.
The state, who I’m sure would have sought the death penalty if they felt they could win, will probably spend countless resources to keep him from this fate.

He supposedly told friends at usc that he pushed her down the steps. This is what I believe and wonder if it set him down a bad path. By all accounts, she was the one who raised him and was someone he cared about. People talk about his reaction on the 911 call being bad, but I could hear at as someone saying, “shut up, and help”. Especially from a young person.
This ^^^ I’ve thought this from the beginning … The whole family was siding with Elec because I believe there’s probably a lot of skeletons in that families closet that has never been revealed, and they all know it.Buster may need to side with Elec because Elec knows what happened to Stephen Smith
He supposedly told friends at usc that he pushed her down the steps.
1) going with the “off the shoulder” look to show inmates he’s hot and available.
For you to say that means YOU have been there tooYou've either been there and done that or have a relative/friend that has
I have not heard this 911 call. I did hear the call Alex made. I probably would have yelled at the 911 operator also for all the stupid ass questions they asked. This is what I believe and wonder if it set him down a bad path. Looks like an actual beef stick.
That's the word from the college kids.No way?
That is sad if those two are considered top notch lawyers in our state. I thought they were pathetic.I have a friend (who is a lawyer) who knows a lot of the folks who were involved in this case. Anyway, she says that Harpootlian is an absolute shyster in the worst way. Most don't consider him a great lawyer, but he is willing to do things others won't. (She added that is precisely what makes him a successful lawyer.) She said that Griffin is considered a good, reasonable guy, and most in the business felt that it was about as good of a team as Murdaugh could put together considering the circumstances.
There were times when I felt like Griffin was kind of embarrassed by Harpootlian's antics, but maybe that was just me.
She also knows Judge Newman and said that he is exactly what you would expect....a very honorable, kind man who is always "by the book."

I think she was likely murdered, and a case has been opened. Wonder when Alex purchased that insurance policy that paid out on her death?
Paul and Maggie sound annoyed on that 911 call. "Lady, she cracked her skull. She can't talk."
Agree. LW expecting a son and brother to go from backing their father/brother to immediately apologizing for the backing and admitting they were wrong is a hall of fame crazy take.I don't think these people are saints, but they obviously believed he did not do it for a long time, then he admitted they lied to them, and then the jury comes back after a few hours with a unanimous guilty verdict. The time for a man-hunt was back in June of 2021, but it never seemed as though they were that concerned with finding the killer. Honestly, I think they were more concerned with getting out of the public spotlight than finding the killer, and it seemed they only offered a reward and went on National TV after the spotlight would not go away. I get wanting to maintain your privacy, but if it had been me, I would have been on every show I could urging anyone who had information to come forward. The media that they hate pushed law enforcement to find the killer much more than they did, IMO.

I thought that was mentioned in the Netflix documentary. It wa the same year as her death I believeI think she was likely murdered, and a case has been opened. Wonder when Alex purchased that insurance policy that paid out on her death?
