It’s going to take more mentor programs and other means. It’s an answer I don’t have
I hate it when people say something needs to be done.
I'm sure if someone could stop it, they would do something.
For starters I would stop gun control and repeal the federal fire arms act. Some if these mass shootings are obvious kamikaze attacks by gun control radicals. Their motive is gun gun control.
Okay, time to get out of this conversation. @92TigerME has abandoned all reasonable discourse. Not that facts or statistics was a large part of his debate process to begin with.
Prohibition doesn't solve anything including gun control. Prohibition of drugs is causing gun violence and gun prohibition is driving radicals to commit mass murder just so they can get political support for even more gun control. Now they are even talking about banning all semiautomatic handguns. Seriously. They won't stop until they win.

Radical ideologies are the problem. People aren't responsible anymore.

I completely agree with 1 and 2.
Welfare is super complicated but I have seen some analysis/studies that showed that:
if we got rid of the bureaucracy around it, then got rid of food stamps, then got rid of the rest of any cash payments involved, we could go to a GMI system that would benefit everyone AND save money. With oncoming automation it's a subject that will need to get serious study.

If you believe Stephen Paddock was crazy, then you have the tin foil hat on. He was a radical aimed at destroying our 2nd Amendment rights.

Also, the shooter in Texas was obviously a radical.
McVeigh was a radical.
We have plenty of evidence that radicals are doing these mass killings.

Conner Bett's old girlfriend agreed with his desire to escalate things. She just thinks he went too far. This is the world we live in. There will be blood in the streets - Loretta Lynch said that.
With the exception of some school shootings which we know very little of the shooter's motives, most of the mass shootings in the USA were domestic acts of terrorism. Crazy had nothing to do with them. They knew what they were doing. One thing to add regarding the Parkland shooter. He made a video stating that he was going to be the next school shooter. His social media was scrubbed cleaned by the FBI. We live in a very dark world right now.

You mean that left-wing radicals would commit mass killings and other acts of terrorism or intimidation to ultimately infringe on individual rights and move society in the direction of gun control and greater government control in general? I agree. Disarming the populous is the first step in achieving total control.
I'm waiting for any of the Dem candidates to take a stand against Antifa or for our individual rights as granted under the Constitution. But I don't think that it is going to happen.
They are basically calling all Trump supporters racist fascist and using that as cause to commit violent acts upon them. CNN by the way is reporting that ANTIFA is protesting White Nationalism. So basically, according to CNN and ANTIFA, if you are a Trump supporter, you are a White Nationalist and ANTIFA is the savior. This is the world we live in right now. It's no wonder a few have taken things to the extreme and committed mass shootings. Yes, they want our guns. I'm sure they are celebrating every time there is a mass shooting with an AR. They know right away that CNN will be calling for gun control. How do we put the two together? I doubt there would ever be a direct link other than a shooters social media history which they for some reason love to scrub. The Dayton shooter forgot to scrub his. He was definitely anti gun. Even retweeted anti gun tweets less than 24 hours before he committed his act.

That pretty much draws the line, in my opinion. Pretty Ironic coming from the white millionaire. But it is what it is.
I should have taken a screen shot of the Portland ANTIFA tweet. That account has been suspended.
I'm not saying your wrong, but it is important that we have some evidence or links before we make a decision.
