Yeah I haven't paid attention to the Fed forecasts lately, I was just going off how bad the reports have been the last few weeks.
Let's be clear that to you "for the long term good of the country" means what's good for white, racist, misogynistic, anti intelligence ignorance. Which is not what most of us think when considering the long term good of the country.

It was a somewhat surprising big move in the Intrest rate markets. And you could tell it shook some things lose. Vix up to almost 30 I believe.

We all know we are on an unsustainable path economically. Neither party wants to take the political hit to make changes to get it done.

Under trump, minorities- particularly the black community were much better off. Pre pandemic:
inflation was low
the economy was growing well
participation in the labor force was at a decades level high
the wage gap between rich/poor and black/white were at the lowest levels in multiple decades
All these things disproportionally benefit minorities. How do things compare now? Under dem leadership after trump, labor participation is down, wage gaps are up, and he cost of basic necessities like food, housing, gas, utilities, etc are absolutely killing low income families. Joe, kamala, and the dems don't want to better the lives of minorities. They want them as dependent of the govt as possible so they have control over them and their vote.
Under trump, they know they were better off financially. Not just better off than they are now, but better off in relation to those in economic classes above them. Why do you think polling showed such erosion in minority support from dems in favor of trump?
I don't know where you get your information, but nothing you said is remotely correct. Just because you wish it to be so doesn't make it true.
You don't get to ignore the differences from before and after the pandemic. And remember, Trump's economy was all fool's gold because it was created by an unnecessary tax cut that added $2 trillion to the deficit. You realize that has to be paid back right? You understand that's money YOU owe right? You understand that it will only get worse if he cuts taxes again right?
Inflation, economic growth, wage gaps, and labor force participation are all measurable statics that you simply can't claim don't exist. You can tell me 2+2 doesn't equal four. It still does. All of those are provable statistical facts if you care to confirm them.
