People act like every guy in the military turned down a full ride from Harvard to go serve. That’s simply not the case. Most of those guys were either chronic screen offs as teenagers and had no other choice, or didn’t have the grades to get into college. Some guys go in just to get their college paid for. And then there’s some that are pretty bright and have always wanted to do it. But to act like all of them fall into the minority of the final category is naive at best

Mine showed about $70 more, I went back looked at what will be due next April and had them increase my withholding almost to what it had been so I wouldn’t end up with a massive tax payment. Most folks should get something, but the real test will be the level of griping tax day a year from now.
