As an agnostic, I would vote for almost anyone over Jesus. No offense to anyone. I respect everyone's right to believe what they want and believe that overall religion has a positive influence on society. It's just not for me.

One reason for Harris to avoid the Fox debate is to make sure there is no audience at the site. Go back to the days of Kennedy-Nixon debate or, better yet, the Cheney-Lieberman debate where they sat together at a table and really discussed the issues. The format of current presidential debates is sorely lacking.
We saw how Trump refused to discuss a number of issues in June by redirecting his answers back to a previous question. That doesn't serve the American public well at all. Force them to have a conversation about policy rather than throw trash and barbs at one another.
I think it's more like Trump ended various Republicans in debates, Trump ended Hillary in debates and Trump ended Biden in debates. Kamala debated so poorly she was one of the first Democrats to drop out. The Democrats are continuing with their game plan of a very 'controlled' script, choosing to limit Kamala's appearances and off the cuff remarks. Kamala doesn't want any part of 3 debates. Trump could offer to have them all on ABC and she would still not do 3 debates. I'm not saying i blame her, it's probably her best move. But all this prior talk that Trump was scared to debate her was utter bullsh!t. (Say it to my face!!) Shit or get off the pot and she got off the pot.

Trump wants to ENABLE Russia to be successful, which is to our detriment. We need to move on from Trump and allow America to grow and be inclusive instead of his nonsense.

You do not care that if your annual unrealized gain on your house is $50,000 that you will have to pay a 25% tax on that gain? Yes - that is $12.500 in a year.
You do not care that your capital gain for the sale of your stock will be taxed at 44.6% vs the 15% now for a long term capital gain? (that applies for married joint filers between $89K to $553K)
Do you care that your 5 year holdings of Microsoft that is worth $100K and part of your retirement strategy will have an unrealized capital gain tax of $25K?
Do you realize that a corporate tax increase of 7% will end up costing close to that is the workforce?
These are all policies that Kamala supports. And we did not even start talking about the payments going to illegal aliens funded by our tax dollars.
There is no great future for USA with Communism. I am sure if these policies are enacted then your 401K will be reduced by at least half and the value of your house will but cut in a similar manner.

As I mentioned in another thread, it’s just wrong regardless of the income threshold. And once you invent an entirely new way to confiscate money from people, it’s much easier to slide that income threshold.
I’m glad Kamala hasn’t come out in favor, but given her past as the most liberal voting member of the senate, a supporter of Medicare for all and the green new deal, etc - I’m sure she will be on that side once her handlers get her through the election.
The capital gains tax is another insane idea supported by leftists like Kamala. And of course tax increases on people already paying more than their fair share. But the GP dems lap it up because it won’t affect them.
