I'm not thrilled with any of them but the number 1 goal has to be keeping Trump at Mar-a-Lago or jail, and a vote for Manchin would be a vote for Trump, so that only leaves one option.
You might be surprised to know in that scenario I would vote for Manchin. I bet there are a lot of people like me out there.

I do. I'm about as anti-Trump as you can get on the conservative side. I can't wait until his stench is gone from the public space because he has destroyed so much that was important about being a Constitutional Conservative. He's a plague.
Manchin would be a welcome dose of sanity in an insane time. I'd prefer other candidates very strongly but if it comes to those three, I would pick him.
If it comes to a binary choice of Trump or Biden, I think Trump will win. People are not going to be inspired to vote and so the most enthusiastic win. The cult of Trump will put him over the top in that case I suspect. Then we'll have such a circus it's hard to even fathom where we go from there.
It's depressing...

It's truly sad that neither party will run a better candidate. What's nuts is the one Republican running I will never vote for is the one guy who the Republicans are gonna nominate. I truly don't love Biden, but I have faith that at least the team around him will be fine, and better than anything a Trump presidency will bring. As @Willence stated, a second Trump presidency would be a shit storm that is scary to think about.
I understand that, honestly I do, but I truly feel a Trump presidency would do more harm than a "Team Biden" presidency.
Again, just sad we have to make this choice.
Biden is too old, I get it and that concerns me too, but it was just revealed that the Trump team has a plan to give him more powers and turn democracy on it's head if he get's re-elected. If you really care about this country, that should scare the bejeebus out of you.
Since you put my name in there I would just say that I think a second Biden presidency would be at least as bad if not exponentially worse. I know you want to agree with me on that but I think Biden is the worst president this country has ever had.

We've had some pretty terrible Presidents through history. I wouldn't rank him extremely highly, but honestly, it was a really tough situation to walk into with Covid and the fall out from the shutdowns. I also think we have handled the Russia/Ukraine situation pretty well.

He's actually got more accomplishments in half a term than most Presidents have in a full term and the sustained low unemployment numbers are the best in 50 years. He's a bad communicator but he's far from the worst President and I can sleep at night knowing he's not plotting to attack our own government.
