Dept. of Government Efficiency - Elon/Vivek leading DOGE

Anyone else enjoying the irony of a "department of efficiency" having 2 people be in charge of it
Though I am all for it, it is kind of funny. I find the fact that there IS a Department of Government Efficiency in the first place somewhat comical. The only thing that would have made it better is if they called it the Department of Government Efficiency Department.

This is going to be a wild administration. Even pays homage to the meme coin DOGE.

As a staunch conservative, how does it feel to be supporting the creation of a new bureacracy in the federal government to do the job of one that already exists? The government oversight comittee. https://oversight.house.gov/

I mean I just went through an audit in our company where we found duplicate actions taken on by multiple departments and centralized them.
Why does anyone here, think that a person receiving BILLIONS of our tax dollars, deserves to be in charge of auditing himself and everyone else.
Ya'll are crazy. The cognitive dissonance is nuts.

This is like when the IRS hired more workers and found billions of dollars, and conservatives complained.

Won, awarded the contracts in SpaceX.
Received in Tesla via carbon tax trades.

SpaceX is well behind, it doesn't help that Boeing is crapping the bed lately, so they don't have adequate competition.

But if you don't see the conflict in interests at play here, I mean this is worse than Nancy Pelosi being put in charge of the SEC.
You "win" a contract, sure; but payment on it still has to be earned. The contractor has to meet contract delivery requirements to be paid or the money will be pulled back and reprogrammed.

And, yes, I do see a glaring conflict of interest and I am 100% concerned about it. Your analogy is spot on. I--along with what I hope are people who actually matter--will be watching hawkishly to see how they intend to manage it.

Pentagon fails 7th audit in a row unable to account for nearly $830B budget...

and surely the richest man on the planet who receives more money than most companies from the federal government will fix it!!!!
ya'll elections really do have consequences. Good luck acting like you did the right thing, after this is all over.

while it is refreshing to have people communicating over the airwaves or broadband, are yall asking yourselves: How is this process more secure and better than what we currently have. Because otherwise, its waste.
I don't follow? What other means of comms are you alluding to? What about this medium concerns you?
